Nope. Deals being done now wont be confirmed until the 1st July when the window finally gets flung wide open. Talks broke down with him and Italian side Fiorentina. Interesting. Has been very good for Bolton last season and Dougie Freedman wanted to keep him. Yes. Not the best to watch by any means imo but there are a few gems in the SPL. Interesting that Celtic say they shall keep there best players for the CL next season and use a shadow squad for the SPL. At least that should allow the other SPL sides to get closer to 1st place.
Reports in the midlands have Aston Villa allowing gk Shay Given to leave for only £1m this summer which has alerted Hull manager Steve Bruce. Guess it works for all 3 parties especially Given who will secure a £5m pay off from Villa.
If he gets a 5 million pay off I can sure see this one happening. If he's just allowed to leave, not a chance. He went to Villa from Man City when both clubs were splashing the cash, his wages will be in the 60-80k bracket.

Given needs to forget the wonga and play some football. It will help ease his "piles" for starters. 2 years sitting on his backside can be very painful. With SB as manager this could well happen. The fact we have 4 fellow ROI ex.team mates here may also help. imo

Noticed Nick Powells name cropping up alot people wanting us to loan him next season, i think we could do better than Powell and Loan his team mate Adnan Januzaj instead, all the united youth/reserve followers rate him alot higher than Powell and say hes closer to the first team. Been described as a grafter whereas Powells a bit more laid back, Apparntly is very similar in style to Zidane/Kaka when running with the ball, Mainly that he glides past players with body feints and movement instead of relying on tricks and blistering pace. Got an eye for a pass too and apparntly is head and shoulders above everyone ability wise in the United under 21's.
We've already got someone in the squad who can do that, trouble is, he doesn't seem to realise it himself, I've only seen him do it a few times but when he has it's usually been very effective. Guessed who I'm refering to - Cairney!
