My GOTS is a more recent well-worked team goal also involving our roving right back working wiith Duff to ensure no offside; also ending in a clinical finish by our favourite Bulgarian. Though it might not make the list.

That goal (and celebration) was the moment that Karagounis became a fan favourite. When he jumped up on the advertising boards was one of my moments of the season.

Berba's goal was such a peach, not just the finish but the build-up too.

Got to be Karagounis vs Blackpool for me. Watching the Kaca goal makes me miss Dembele...

That's mine as well Bandit - if only for the sheer joy behind it. Amazing how the wee man featured in 2 of the top 5!

Hope everyone will give him the send off he deserves and be voting for him tomorrow.

    And the winner is:

"Dimitar Berbatov's volley against Stoke has won our Goal of the Season award after beating Giorgos Karagounis' effort against Blackpool and Bryan Ruiz's strike at Reading into second and third place"

Here is a link to the full story from the Club: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2013/june/04/goal-of-the-season

Ah well, you can't win them all - or can you, if you're an icon??

All stigmas aside, I think Berba's was genuinely the best goal.

I must admit I tend to like team goals more than individual goals. When things just click into place.
The Kaca goal against Norwich, with Petric flick. The Riether goal at Sunderland from defense to attack.
The Berbatov goal at Tottenham again defense to attack, although I think Berba shinned it in.

I noticed in the big picture on the Official web that for Berbatov's goal against Stoke there was some teenager who was texting on his phone in the Riverside Stand when Berba struck the ball.
Have you ever missed a goal for any reason ? I remember it was either against Perm or Vetra, I had been stuck on a bus in traffic and was just walking down to turn the corner into Stevenage Rd, when Fulham scored in the opening minutes I think.

Apart from occasionaly misjudging traffic and turning up late (most noticeably I managed to miss the Juventus goal when they came to the cottage), I tend to do alright. But I remember at Fulham V Sunderland maybe 5 years ago? I'd just got a new phone and was trying to get it to send a message before Sunderland took a free kick on the edge of the box. I looked down for an instant and suddenly everyone was either doubled up laughing or crying.

At the time I hadn't a clue what was going on, and my mate was laughing too hard to explain, but I later found out that Jimmy Bullard had in fact done something... unsportsmanlike to Djibril Cisse in the wall, for which Cisse was awarded a yellow :)
