We're doing the first Manchester Color Run on the 21st of July in memory of Trevor Bolder. Trevor made an impact on a lot of lives whether you were lucky enough to know him or just listen to his incredible music. Trevor was hoping to be back doing what he loves most this Summer at the download festival, it's come as a shock to his family and friends to lose him in these circumstances. We just want to run in memory of him whilst raising money for a charity which really helped him towards the end. Please dig deep for a great cause. https://www.justgiving.com/gpottsharmer/ All proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support, any donation gratefully received.
Good luck and great cause. My old boy had the same form of cancer as Trevor. The support from MacMillan towards the end was really appreciated. I've supported them in my own way financially and hope this gets the support and backing it deserves.
Good luck to her, I take it you're not doing it with her then? I was thinking, a hat with a pie dangling at the front, and a photo of a certain manager, and you'd be first over the line with ease!
Mr BMB has survived 3 Cancer episodes over the past 10 years(including loss of prostate gland and two thirds of an ear) so am happy to contribute, especially as I am in charity fund raising work myself.
Thanks for your very generous donation, it's very much appreciated. I was made away of it, when I received an email from my main supplier and oldest friend in China who sent me a link to Georgia's page with the message 'Ha, have you been swearing a lot on the Hull City forum?'.
I checked this morning and the donation I thought I did yesterday through PayPal didn't seem to be there, so I did it again, this time not through Paypal which arrived OK, so she might get it twice.
Just had a look and the Ps is by my husband. I asked him to add a supportive comment after mine and then post the message. He is a very naughty boy!
Just bumping this as No.1 daughter is running today at 3.00 pm, I'll let you know how she gets on. Thanks to all of those who made very generous donations. If you didn't make one, feel free to do it now.
I linked the fundraising page to Uriah Heep's twitter hopefully will go over the £1000 mark, I too shall donate when I get paid
I've been donating to Cancer research since 1999 when this terrible disease took my much loved Mother and not working at the moment I am unable to donate to your Daughters cause, my apologies. I wish her all the best with her fundraising and she has my greatest respect.
