The more I think about it, the more I believe Moyes will be a failure at scum. He has no experience with big money signings, European football, competing for trophies, handling prima donnas like rooney, high expectations or the media circus that will follow his every move. Hopefully, they will become another arsenal, top four team but incapable of winning anything
Agree with ya I give him five years max and I expect the scum to finish 3rd this coming season behind Citeh and Chelski. He wont be able to keep the likes of RVP and Evra and I expect Giggs to call it a day soon
While I wish you were right, I can't see him being a failure. I just think he is too good a manager to fail, they made a very good appointment with him In fact it wouldn't surprise me to see him win the prem in his first season
Wouldnt be so sure. Chelsea wil be much improved and werent far off the pace last season. City will also be stronger. Scum only need to be a little weaker to get dragged back into the pack of three. Without bluenose and scholes, they will be weaker. I really believe they could do an Arsenal
I can still remember old red nose when he first join the scum, fair enough he had done a good job at Aberdeen, but it was still a big jump to the ist division, even if scum were crap at the time. As everyone knows he was more or less one match from sacking. He got some luck, survived and had some more luck and more luck and more, well you get my point. I'm hoping that Moyes will find he's a bit out of his depth and he doesn't get the same amount of luck as his predecessor...
Hopefully he will do a Liverpool and struggle to get top ten forever!! No Chumps Lge for a few seasons will damage them financially as every penny is budgeted for to service their debt. Imagine them missing out on all that filthy lucre for five seasons - they'd be in deep sh1t for sure.
City won't be stronger imo. Chelsea will be without doubt, there squad is young and exciting and just waiting for a good manager to get a hold of em I've been hoping that Spurs step-up and become the darkhorses for the title, they won't take much imo. Have a very strong backline and a one of the most underrated midfielders in the world in Dembele. Just need a top quality striker and a few others and they would be up there
Spurs won't do Jack under AVB especially if Bale leaves. Pillegro is meant to be a wonder manager. Jose will get get Chelsea top so thd Scum will be lucky to get top 2
I don't think Bale will leave. He'll leave next season especially if they don't get champs league again so they only really need to add to that. Bale to me is an interesting player, he really doesn't do much for the majority of games yet has this manic 10-15 minutes where he can score a couple goals and set one up. I do think he is overrated because for me doesn't compare Ronaldo or Messi which is how many people are rating him. He is too average in a lot of games to be considered a great, look at the game against us and think how much more an impact that Ronaldo or Messi woulda had on that game
He's still fairly young, he needs/got time to mature as a player. I'm being a bit ahead of myself but I'm calling the top 5 as in order: Chelsea, Citeh, Scum, Spurs and then Arsenal.
Marko, you're an optimist. Everton may not have won anything under Moyes, but their financial resources meant they were always going to struggle to cope financially. In the circumstances, they didn't do that badly. With no such financial resctrictions to worry about, I hat to say it but the scum will remain a top 3 side. I can see Chelski winning the league next year with 2nd being a straight fight between Scum and scumcity with La Arse possibly holding onto 4th. If Spurs can keep Bale, & its a big if in my book, they will push for 4th. Victimpool may surprise a few, but much will depend on whether or not they can keep all their players and get the best out of their emerging talent.
Hmm, its so hard to call at this stage and on current squads I would probably agree with you but with the amount of money spent and the way transfers are these days its hard to comment before the opening day
Morinho is the new Chelsea manager, confirmed by his No.2 at Real Madrid today. I think they'll be favourites for the title, but I think Moyes will do fine at Man United and he'll win the title in the not too distant.
Also, unless he really screws up badly, scum will give him time, got to hand it to them, they run their club well, the effing bastards I used to hope all that debt would drag them down, but even that has proved a vain hope Is it just me, by the way, that is also thinking I couldn't care all that much at the moment, as the alternatives to them being at the top are Chelsea or Man City or Arsenal or Spurs? There seems to be a notable name missing from that list of clubs who ought to be taking over from them............ and no, I did not mean Liverpool.
Really can't stand Spurs but they do seem to be a well run club, pisses me off though that they look more like Leeds United than Leeds United do these days Re Moyes, I do think he'll struggle and won't last more than a season - hopefully the start of a long decline from which they'll never recover. No CL = debts can't be serviced. Re Bale, being Welsh he'll never get to play in the Euros or a World Cup, so won't ever be considered a true great.
