The BBC offends me. A direct tax to everyone who lives in the country to pay for a service which pays someone called Will-I-Am to host a low brow talent competition I've never watched. I've already got one license I don't want in Belfast and the bastards keep threatening to bring me to court because I haven't got a second license on the Isle of Man. I'll go to court before paying those ****s another 160 quid.

It's ridiculous in these days of digital TV that we're being to all intents and purposes forced to subscribe to the BBC.

I barely ever watch anything on their ****ty channels.

At least the BBC produces some decent programmes (mostly on BBC2 and 4). Most of the other channels are ****e. Full of reality ****, wacky game shows and programmes that seemed to have been created by and for morons (Sky Living, E4, ITV2).

I mean ITV2 for **** sake. Any **** that watches that channel needs to be lobotomised.

A man of principle, prepared to make any sacrifice for his beliefs.

Or tightwad who'll do anything to get out of paying his dues.

    You decide.

The BBC, in confiscating by law a piece of my earnings, are telling me that they know how to spend my money better than I do. All I want to be is left alone, yet an organisation sends inspectors around to my house, who demand entry to my private property, to make sure I don't have a television or a PC capable of streaming a service I don't want. It is utterly offensive to me and should be to everyone.

The BBC does certain things better than anyone else in the world - sports coverage and historical dramas are second to none.

But the left-wing pro-Arabist editorial policies of its news & current affairs departments are an absolute disgrace.

It may do some things very well, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it imposes a levy on people who don't want or like it. Also I wouldn't be surprised if a tax funded organisation is left wing.

Here we go: the BBC is left-wing <doh>

The channel's about as middle-class and middle-of-the-road as you can get for **** sake.

I do believe the IRA tried to take out the BBC before (obviously under the orders of Savile), but were unsuccessful.

As you can see they are no.1 on our enemies list http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/184161-Rangers-Enemies-List

The only good thing they have done in years was the coverage of the Queens jubilee and the Royal wedding but then again I would happily pay for that if Sky bought the rights and put it on PPV.
