What would happen to West Ham if we had to host the Olympics again?

Brazil government now stepping in. I think there are either real safety issues or someone didn't get his bung.

Temperatures in Qatar at night in the summer are in the mid 30's to low 40's. The humidity in Qatar is often worse at night. My uncle lives there and says most teams won't have a chance of playing well anytime in the summer.

I find that a bit strange, because Qatar is primarily a desert, or at least semi-arid, and deserts, even semi-arid ones, tend to lose humidity and temperature quickly at nightfall, if they've gained any humidity during the day.

I bow to your Uncle's on-the-spot knowledge though.

Well it looks like you were wrong anyway. At least according to an uncle who lives in Qatar.

That's the trouble with internet forums. There's always somebody who knows better..! :)

And Chilco says they'll be played indoors anyway.

Still don't know why he moved out there doesn't appeal to me at all. Yes he is on a good wage but I wouldn't like the strict rules etc.

Apparently they're designing "air-conditioned" stadiums, somehow...

But they have already said the humidity will still be a issue . That's why FIFA were thinking of changing to the winter until a few leagues basically said no.
