Can't understand why anyone would ever be in favour of getting rid of him before we've given him a chance? He did the Championship, his wages should be reasonable and he'll actually play for the badge! Give him a go!

A guy proud to play for the Rs. Keep and find more of the same.

A proud & dedicated Ranger. Definitely keep, but will need regular games in NPC.

If 'proud and dedicated R' is the top criterion, everybody on this board should be in the squad. Impossible to judge DJ on the basis of 13 appearances and 1 goal over 2 seasons. All I know is that I was never impressed by him prior to joining us, and he was truly awful, sub pub standard, when I was privileged to see one of his appearances for us away at Arsenal in 2011.

I'd rather take a chance on an untried youngster.

Very well put Uxbridge. We go about loyalty of players, but what a out the loyalty of the club. DJ to score 15 with regular games next season.

I think regular games is the key, with him. I think that's why he never really got running with us thus far. He needs to be playing regularly. But he's definitely an asset.

I think Uxbridge hits the nail on the head here. We need players who want to play for the club, and have instead spent the last two seasons with a bunch of overpaid wasters who have little or no interest in whether we stayed up or went down so long as the cash kept rolling in.

In all seriousness, I would be happy with a mid-table group of young players who bleed for the shirt and put a proper shift in. We have just retained a good number of the U18s - I'm hoping that next season a good number of them get their chance - at least they will be determined to put 100% effort in. I have never been so ashamed of a Rangers team than the pitiful group that didn't even appear to try at Reading. In the past I've seen relegated teams out on their feet at the end of a game, tears flowing - this lot just couldn't have given less of a ****.

I want the heart of our team back - and that just isn't dependent on the league they play in.

The only way to get him fit is to have an op that would end his QPR career, so its either as he was or out for the season.

He's scored goals at PL and NPC level, a definite keep for me. Not given a fair chance when we were in the Prem.

10 goals in 17 games = 27 goals over 46 games, he's already our player so wouldn't cost us and as others have said he'd play for the badge. We'd be mad to sell

Couldn't agree more but I'm afraid Harry doesn't fancy him.

All areas are a bit of a conundrum, but scoring goals has been an even more dire situation for us. AJ and Zamora will be coming to the last year of their contracts, so if they have the slightest chance of being fit Harry will want to use them, and they will need to perform if they are to be signed by anyone else the following season - so could be a win-win. Still believe we need a young strong forward - Remy would be great, but who knows where that is going now - if he goes we have to replace him like for like. Next season, we will have two places up front to fill (AJ & Zamo) so we have the chance to be scouting now for a replacement.
Back to the topic - DJ? Not sure I see how he fits in, he will want to play and not sure Harry sees him as one of his players. Shame, would be nice to have someone with the club in his heart when he plays. I think his future is probably elsewhere.
