    all i'm saying is that norwich won't win the premier league under the current conditions. in many ways, the premier league is designed in such a way to stop smaller clubs getting their hands on the trophy. that's not doom mongering or me being negative - it's just the way football has become these days. it might change, one day - i'm sure it will when it all comes crashing down, but what i'm saying is that as things stand and even taking into account possible infrastructure upgrades and whatever, norwich cannot win the premier league. in fact, i'm quite shocked by the naivity shown by some. it's like saying that i could sleep with cheryl cole. technically i might, but she won't sleep with me! not when she finds out about me and sarah harding anyway...

    How many fans would even have dreamt that we'd be having his discussion after the 1-7 scoreline less than 5 years ago? I MOST certainly wouldn't have!!!! I'm enjoying most of the football (apart from the boring defensive displays of some games this season) and hope to see us play to win more games nextg season, as opposed to playing 'not ot lose!!!!'

    I completely agree about the Prem being designed to keep the small clubs small - certainly that is the effect of FFP, as mentioned above.

    However, I'm confiedent that a very well run club, with sensible transfer policies and a very good manager (I think this last being the biggest hurdle) could still, given a substantial number of years, get to a stage of competing. Right here, right now, yes it is impossible.

    Jr, indeed we shouldn't forget those days. Would you put up with some defensive performances next season if it meant another season in the top flight? I'm not a season to to kticket holder, but I would

    I am a season ticket holder and I guess I would accept 'some defensive performances' - just not as many as we had this season and certainly not at CR!

    That is possible of course.However if we do survive into a fourth season then that is wellon the way to being an established Premiership club.The average survival time for a promoted side is 1.9 seasons,
