I do laugh at how inaccurate the Post are though, not so much with the main story just the reference that "prompting them to renew efforts to sign another striker this summer, whether it is Celta Vigo man Aspas or Chelsea's Belgian powerhouse Romelu Lukaku. They must be the only paper that aren't aware that neither of these players are coming here.

 

Its written in the EP by one of the football journalist who is actually permanently attached to the swans so what he writes is correct at the time.......fact

 

Bloody hell dai. Sorry but you have far too much faith in journos. Liars the lot of 'em. I'm not saying they never print the truth but it's like the boy who cried wolf for me. Far too many untruths in that industry.

The fact the guy is attached to the Swans doesn't make a difference imo.

The article is bollocks and a mish mash of interviews over a number months, and its been thrown together in a way that makes very little sense. The quotes maybe real but the context has been lost !

i don't think...well i know you don't know how any club is run tbh.....we have our own press room that the EP uses to get stories and issues arising from the club...I bet you didnt know that did you.. Whatever our sports writer writes in the EP is what is coming from the swans press room and if it was false do you honestly think the club would tolerate that I know what im talking about i have seen the press room...

 

So everything you dont like is propaganda and spin but when you like something its spot on.. the different magazines from all over the world and reps from the press and media have at one time or another been to the press department of the club....its where they get their info from and interviews.......We are a properly run club you know we do have things going on other than match days..

 

Your problem Dai is that you are taking everything printed as fact not speculation or spin by the person writing it. They haven't even spoken to Michael at all, they are taking interviews from sky sports then adding spin to it.

I have pointed you to direct quotes from an interview with sky and printed on the post, these are not similar quotes, they are exact. It appears you don't know how the press works, they are not simply sitting in a press room waiting to be spoon fed info from the club. They are at home watching sky sports for the most part

I am taking everything that comes out of the swans press room via the EP as correct.....why say these things if it was not whats happening....twitter and facebook and rumors you can take with a pinch of salt but when articles on the front, inside and the back pages of the EP then that's what is the news of the day from the club....

The swans press room is on holiday so thay take old quotes and put a spin on them. Keeps the papers running off the shelves in to the hands of the gullible Dai.
