Ministers have tried to highlight the impact of benefit fraud by publishing some of the more unusual excuses used by people found guilty of cheating.

Reasons include carrying ladders as therapy rather than for cleaning windows, and claiming an identical twin had been doing work rather than them.

    ****************************************************************

Any of the excuses in this article yours Huth?

Used to work for the DWP (benefit's office) and used to get all manner of ****.

We had a nutter walked into the jobcentre one day and threatened to do a Thomas Hamilton. I used to do house visits as well and saw some shockers. I'm talking about having to go home and have a shower and wash your clothes straight afterwards shocking.

The best ones were the families who used to walk into the jobcentre with the same genetically inherited limp. From 18 to 65 they would all limp in, walking with the aid of a walking stick. The ****s knew the benefit system better than the staff.

    ^^^^^^^^^^

    This.
How many translators and cultural enrichment officers did your office have?
My local one has 11, yes 11 'enrichment' officers.
We use them at work (Hospital) as translators for patients.
    Couldn't make it up.

Wow, I make an article mocking Huth for his benefits, ST talks about benefit fraud and you turn up and complain about foreigners needing translators.

No I'm complaining against people being called Cultural enrichment officers.
Unemployment is unemployment. I don't remember anyone saying it culturally enriched them.
They are very helpful as translators. Why not just call them that?
