Until players start signing for clubs its hard to guess whats going to happen, even with Aspas if a few other clubs matched the bid wouldnt he be able to talk terms with them all. La liga dont finish their season till the weekend so really if we have targets there we couldnt buy them until next week anyway, maybe we just need to chill and wait.
personally I think Aspas is a bit ugly for the Swans. If he does slot in alongside Suarez he'll make Suarez look like a pretty boy.
It would have been nice to see Aspas here but he is not our main target, Aubam and Kone are ahead of him.

If he has signed then, reading between the lines, then Suarez is off and Borini fades to the bench. I'd have Borini back tomorrow. He suits us.

But will he want to stay ? No European football for you this season is there ? I think this factor is having a bigger detrimental effect on your proposed targets than you think , just saying like.........
Bony, you may not be that far from the truth buddy Aspas has never appeared to be a "Swansea player". He comes with baggage (an enormous ego apparently) is high mantenance. He recently received a four-match ban for headbutting defender Carlos Marchena. Last season in La Liga B he scored 23 goals and this year only 12 in the top flight. Poor for a striker I think. For me Aspas is just a petulant Danny Graham. Glad he's gone elsewhere.

Its not about who's got the biggest Dick Dai, its about whether Borini is content sitting on the bench to earn his corn a la Sinclair, or would rather sing for his dinner a la Lukaku.
It isn't a fact Dai. If Suarez leaves them in the summer then they really will be in trouble next season and 7th is probably as good as it would get without him as all the players of his caliber are already playing in the CL or would want to thus wouldn't want to go to Liverpool, when they can go to much smaller clubs and triple the wages that a club like Liverpool would offer.
Have to be honest I do envy you discussing a serious transfer target rather than just idol speculation and of course the shortsgate scandal. However it must be gutting to be snubbed by your first potential signing.
Not sour grapes, but I'm glad we never signed him. I think their are better players out there more suited to us.
