Well with so many FATs available this summer most of that £15m would be on wages. But to start off with we could get say Charlie Austin for £3m + add ons. Shay Given for £1m, Alf for £2/3m. Add in Liam Bridcutt, Luis McGugan, as well and we would be much stronger for the PL. I suspect that SB will have a bigger budget though with the new riches on offer.
You forget he helped us gain 4pts which proved so vital after 46 games. Indeed a gem as you so say. Not to mention Bournmouth. The Foxes can now have 2 away days on the south coast next season. No he is not. They have missed out as Parkin has re-signed for Fleetwood Town. But Paul McKenna is a available as a fat.
Upgrade the infrastructure of the Club, financially stable for the future. Upgrade the training facilities, youth academy, Stadium, upgrade the Club as a whole. Obviously attempt to stay in the Division, but be in a state that we would be one of the strongest/biggest sides in the Championship in order to be the 'yo-yo' Club.
Definatly agree with that Candyman. It'd be nice if we could also sign a couple of players who we know would stay if we did get relegated and would be classed as top end Championship players. Could we get Hooper and Austin cheap? Can we get Schmeichel cheap, i think those 3 would stay if we got relegated.
Hopefully not Bardsley, he's a class A prick. Odemwingie is good but probably a trouble maker from what's been said. Don't need a player like that. Would like to see if we could nick Vydra, don't know what the situation is with him though, also Austin would be a good shout, obviously GK is a priority, would say at least 2. Cover on the wings & cover up front if we got one of those I mentioned. CB cover too.
Wtf, i am not even thinking about relegation next season ffs. But yes yes we need to improve the accademy facilities so that we can mix it with the PL reserve big guns.
Every newly Promoted Club needs to be cautious in their approach to the Premier League. We learnt that the hard way. The Club needs to stay secure and stable, and whilst obviously doing your best to stay up, be ready for relegation so that you aren't in the Wolves situation.
Learning by past mistakes. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-19135815-detail/story.html?#axzz2UZlNNA1V
£10 million - Rhodes £5 million - Hooper Get Kevin keegan in as no 2, out score the enemy. Summer business done.
I doubt we can get Hooper cheap and there is no way he would stay if we got relagated. Norwich had a 7M bid rejected so doubt we are even in that market for him, but would be a great signing.
I'd go for players who'd be excellent Championship players. I know I'm gonna get shot down here but to be honest, if it was my club, I wouldn't want to gamble it all away on people like Bullard, Olifinjana or Ghilas. I'd rather prepare for bitchslapping the bejesus out of the Championship for an immediate return if the worst case scenario did happen. Schmeichel , Vydra, Bridcutt would be a start but I liked the look of Doyle, Sako and Doumbia from Wolves and would be very cheap.
