It seems to be a trend with our recent managers that they all seem such gentleman. Good sorts that you would happily have a beer with (or a Sardinian red in the case of Gianfranco). Apart from Rodgers - a gentleman maybe, but he would bore the arse off you before the first pint had been finished.
Or he would go to another bar before the drink is finished, after saying how he enjoyed himself at the first one.
Prolific twitterer @WatfordTalk has been transcribing a GianLuca Nani interview with the Udinese site in which he seems to claim that Vydra and Abbi amongst others will remain at Watford next season, and that the stadium renovation will get immediate attention if we secure promotion.
Looks like there will be some positive progress to come on the re-development of the South West corner! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/10440837._/
How about this for next seasons kit... along with white and black stripes for the away kit Might wind up Holloway a bit more!
I was actually thinking that kit would look good on us when I was watching the CL final. Maybe slightly thinner black stripes to keep yellow as the main colour.
Very thin black stripes on the shirts and complete reverse for colour clashes, except for Hull City then my plan is messed up.
I reckon I must be in the red short brigade - would much prefer them, along with black socks. I've never really seen the need for an away strip as such - there aren't that many matches where our colours clash with the home team. It has always seemed a bit incongruous to me, going to an away match wearing the yellow and watching a team play in blue or whatever the latest away strip is. Why can't we just stick to the same three colours all the time, just using different combinations when necessary?
If this stand is almost full there should be an incentive to start planning for a new one. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/130407-st-2013-14-april-prices-758018.aspx
You could ask why the club changes its home kit virtually every year (not just Sponsor name). It's money, pure & simple. The club changes both its home & away away kit and the fans buy the new replicas.
I read in the WO the club will decide which out of contract players will be offered new deals and who won't be - probably be fair to guess who those will be.
