Not being funny but does everyone seriously think Barton will be here next year. Personally I'll take this.

    Tiote Caybaye

    N'Zogbia Ben Arfa Gutierrez

    Gameiro

It's been a while since you've forced Vargas down our throats! ;)

I kid, don't worry. We all love him as much as you do..............

I don't wanna speak prematurely, but to me, that sort of line-up could be beyond the top 7. It's up there with Liverpool, Everton and maybe even Spurs. Although it does depend on how those players adapt to the EPL.

However, the only difference is that our defence isn't the same quality, and almost all of our strength is in that starting line-up, so unlike teams such as Spurs, we couldn't bring on substitutes and squad players which are anywhere near the same quality. Any injures to any of those key players and our overall team quality drops a significant amount.

However, it would be hard as **** to get that sort of line-up. I'll be astounded if we get the same players which we set out to get originally, i.e. Gervinho, Gameiro and so on.

Oh and as for Gervinho, I have this weird feeling that we might get him you know.

I don't know what it is. Just a strange hunch. Tiote is his pal, and we've almost signed one of his existing team-mates, so it would be a good welcoming home for him on his move to English football. Possibly the best in the EPL in regards to that.

Plus, I presume we've offered him one hell of a contract and wage packet which is probably quite competitive. He's a top European player, but he isn't a superstar talent which the likes of the top 4 teams would pay a fortune to sign, so I don't think he would be offered mega bucks by any team.

Oh, and let's also hope that he realises that he would have a guaranteed first-team spot here, whilst in bigger teams, he could easily be sitting on the bench a lot.

The only problem with a line up like this is, the main attacking force aren't really adapted to the EPL....

Just edited my post there and included more reasons. It isn't THAT far-fetched.

Aye, I see your reasons! And to be honest, they will be the biggest factors in our attempt to acquire his services! Still though, can see Champs League being a factor for other clubs.

We shall see! I'm just gonna sit and wait patiently. Longer be a long summer haha

HM TOON, don't think a 2-3-1 formation will get you into top 7 mate, but hey, if you think its ****in epic, then who am I to argue pal.
