Am I meant to recognise the person with him? God help him cos Vegas is hell on earth. Hands down the worst place I have ever been - 5 nights and I was bored ****less.
That's his husband. I've never been to vegas, but I've been to Luton and a lot of places under Spanish ownership, on that basis I discount Vegas being hell on earth as....... Yep you guessed it, bullshit! (Although I understand it is a bit of a hole outside of the luxury shopping malls and casinos)
My terminology probably wasnt the best, obviously there are less plush places but I consider it hell on earth cos it's so ****ing boring. Every single casino you go in - and there are a lot - are EXACTLY the same on the inside. Literally. Same buildings, different fronts and once youve been there for 10 minutes you have done everything it is possible to do. I never thought I could be bored on a stag-do for 5 nights but I really was and it was nothing to do with the company.
You can't break the bank in 10 minutes unless you're roman abramovic. Don't they have a wicked theme park there aswell? Or are you not the thrills kind of man? I must say I've always had you down as the Sunday drive to the garden centre for lunch and antiques collector type if I'm honest so maybe I just answered my own question.
**** off cheeky ****. And anyway you've come down on the wrong side of the argument cos I clearly said Vegas wasnt exciting enough for me. Somehow it has built up an image of being a wild playground yet all there are is rows and rows of people standing in silence dropping coins into a slot machine whilst fat Americans who cant ****ing drink have their first Bacardi and then fall over. Ive been on some wild stag-do's around mainland Europe but Vegas really cant live with any of them.
Just to make sure we're operating on the same wavelength here, a wild stag do in mainland europe consists of walking round the WW1 battlefields and graveyards, with a backpack containing a tea flask, packed lunch, spare clothes in case you have an accident, a small first aid kit, and a fold up map which never actually reaches your backpack as its always in your hand. All whilst wearing a straw hat. Right?
Vegas is a collection of casino's, bars, restaurants, shows and the world's biggest strip club. The place is crawling with hookers and it's sunny 300 days a year. I can usually find something to keep me occupied.
