According to the interview in the DDF, Nick says the first incoming won't be while middle of June. Also mentioned the International window opens at that time, so is our first gonna be from abroad?

I hope there not including Boyd and elmo as two of the 4-6 players , personally would say we need 6-8 .

Well considering that nothing can be made Official until 1st July that is fine by me.

Actually i like this tight as a drum situation the club now has in place. No leeks at all. Just rumours.

Alot of players will be away on holidays anyway at the moment apart from the International players that is.

I will guess on 6 NEW to the club players plus 2/3 season loans from Man Utd.

Everton's badge is horrific, no wonder they had to apologize and are changing it back.

 

It's not about numbers, it's about quality. We could sign 8 players who dont turn out to be better than what we have so we just have more strength in depth but no improvement in quality. We need players who are better than what we have now so probably half the current first teamers end up making up the bench.

It really is as bad as the one designed by Hinchcliffe's son. I'm wondering if this is some kind of Heinz Salad Cream / New Coke campaign and they'll switch it back after 1 season to make fans appreciate what they had.

I like that hes said we want players for the long term and not the short term, hopefully we'l target players who will stick around if we get relegated and help us bounce back up. Not players on huge silly contracts who lose interest when they arnt on tv every week Ala Olifinajana

Schmeichel, Austin and Hooper would be my Summer business anything left over would go towards improving training facilities, youth facilities etc

 

I wondered if that ruled out Given even if Villa did pay him off? Seems like we'll be targetting people with a sell-on value and I can see the logic in that.

 

I think Givens wages will rule him out, Cant see him wanting to Probably more than half his current wage surely.

I was just about to say the same ting, I'd sooner sign 4 top quality players than stretch our teeny tiny budget to 8 average players, we already have a fairly deep squad and a good amount of them will do alright in the prem I reckon, we just need to get in some stand out players to sharpen the blade.

IMO, TWT as always, there's also some quality FAT's available if needs be.

Also tickles we can't get 3 Man U loans, prem is limited to 2 domestic loans and I don't think they have 3 players of the quality we'll be looking at who will be available. Nick Powell and Zack Buttner I'd go for if we did, we definitely need another left back in da house.
