Yoshida has mentioned crumble and custard in another interview...seems to be a bit of an obsession. Wish he hadn't mentioned the 6.1 loss...we don't make a habit of it!!!

 

Of course we need a thread....this is the off season.

I think -DTLW has a Saints orientated Twitter alert, so he's always going to be in the vanguard with news.

 

How long ago was this interview? I can't see Tadanari Lee returning to Saints. I think we'll offload him next month.

 

I'm not so sure- I reckon MP wants to see him in pre-season. May be offloaded before the closure of the window if he doesn't impress. Shame if so, I liked what I saw of him in th NPC. that goa against Derby...

 

True, I'm 1/2 Italian and 1/2 short. The weird thing is 2 Japanese people are taller than him - I always think of Japanese people being shorter than the UK average.

PS don't shoot me for the huge generalisation - there is nothing sinister in the comment, just an observation.....

 

Not weird at all. Yoshida and Lee are both over 6ft I think. Lee is or just over 6ft and Yoshida is like 6'2. The average male in the UK is going to be shorter than them. It's normal (they all are).

 

Apparently the Japanese ate poor diets low in vitamins (B, I think) and were short and most wore glasses. Since they started eating more meat, they have grown taller and their eyesight has improved.

 

Cue politically incorrect jokes.....

Apparently, the Italians are short so that they are nubile and can change direction quickly...


PS - As previously stated I am 1/2 Italian so hopefully this self-mocking will not get the posting police on me

 

My mother never said the deterioration in my eye sight was due to a lack of red meat!

 

Our Nicola is so smart.... Expect announcement of Honda to sign next week. What better place to meet him than under the cover of a trip to the embassy.

 

I honestly think, If Lee is given a decent pre-season, and a chance to impress, he could be a part of our squad next season.
