I don't blame the fella, the British media have hounded him from pretty much day one..
There's only a certain amount a person can take, if a top team like that come in for him and the deal is right for us as well, then he can go with head held high.

I wonder what he'd be like in a team where he's not the main man. For me, Bayern would be a better fit than Real for Luis

don't want to put a downer on things, but would explain why i read on koptalk a couple of weeks ago that Liverpool officials were in Madrid, if true i thought it was buying, maybe player swap and cash, but who no idea.

hope he stays and its bull, we always seem to take 1 step forward but 2 back.

Yes they do. They're selling alot of players this summer and (reportedly) have upwards of 100mill to spend on new signings for Pepe plus whatever they make from sales.

Goetze (can never spell his name) and Lewendowski (nor his) are being signed for a reason. New, young team being assembled.

Pep only plays with one striker so when Lewandowski comes he will start. Why spend 40 million on Suarez and not play him. Suarez going there would make no sense at all.

@RorySmithTimes: More Suarez: "I love #LFC, but I have a wife and daughter, and I'm not prepared to tolerate the English press any more."

It's an exit. I don't blame him treatment wise (press) despite believing he brought a good bit on himself on the field. If there's no release clause we should hold out for highest amount & not get bullied. He signed a new contract after we supported him first debacle around so he'll go at our bloody price.

Villa, Messi, Pedro and Sanchez are hardly midfielders <ok>

Pepe plays with three forwards - if anything Suarez is more of a fit than Lewandowski (who they haven't signed yet).

  12. I would definitely take that!

Anyone else now concerned that the Alfa Romeo guy (Aspas) is Luis' replacement...?

    Christ.

Rather hoping that the "really big RHC signing" is his replacement now. And he better be bloody donkey kong size.

We'll have plenty of funds sloshing around very publicly which never ends well with us.....

  14. Least we are signing players early and before others leave this time.

could be David Villa i suppose, not sure how likely that is though as Arsenal are interested aren't they, and they can offer him Cl football and prob silly wages.

i reckon the big signing is Alonso coming home

Would be good, just instantly makes our midfield 10 times better in terms of depth - I've got a funny feeling on someone like Tevez or dare I even say it Rooney <yikes>

Would be a really strange one wouldn't it - I think not606 would have to close if it did.

Surely even that is too crazy for the modern game?

Rooney, give over, he's a flat track bully at best... you watching the England Vs Ireland game, he's horrendous against "average" Prem and lower league players.
Tevez, doubt it, he's at the age now where he'd be looking to head back home in a year or two's time.
Perfect scenario would be signing a "Big name player" that's 24-25 and willing to stay a good 4-5 years!
