Was just about to say that I bet Ireland score and they did. Never like England when they make pretty patterns....need more urgency.

That was my reaction as well. Part of me actually wants Ireland to win!

I hope ITV don't intend to keep using that ridiculous sound effect. It's doing my nut in already.

When a name is displayed, they use it.. Be ready for it when there is a sub or something. Was also used for the line-ups.

Glen Johnson should be told to always look to pass or cross. Cutting inside and shooting on his left foot is so ineffective it's laughable yet he tries it so often.

A "Wooossssh" noise every time a score appears, name appears, anything like that. Irritating.

Sod waiting a couple of years, Clyne is better than Johnson now. No doubt at all in my mind.

Yeah, definitely. I don't really rate Walker either.

I don't, after seeing what England did to Matty. I've been extremely lukewarm about England since then, and the way they ignore Rickie is just another chapter, if slightly more understandable.

It was England in 1966 that inspired me to watch Saints the following season, and a love affair was born. I was an avid England follower up until it was obvious that players from top 6 clubs were getting preference over players in the best of form. That really started to take hold around the start of the Premier League. My interest pretty much petered out by 1998-2000. Now I look on with academic interest only. I can't summon up any proper kind of support or supporter interest.
