unfortunately I think we are at a stage we do have to gamble on the who's? but we have had many who have come in and done the business.... wo know Hyypia, Alonso, Garcia, Riise, etc before they came to us?

It ould be nice to have Toure, Papa, and Aspas done at about the 20 million mark and then leaving all the Carroll, Skrtel, Pepe ( i they all go ) fees to play with.

 

I want Pepe to stay.. Carroll and Skrtel leaving I can live with!
If we had 20-25M to spend then I guess most of that has gone on Aspas, Toure (wages) and Papa (if we do really end up with him).
Keep Pepe, flog Carroll and Skrtel for 25M and use that on two "Now" players in the mould of Eriksen and Diame and the rest can be spent on some up and coming LB, if we do that bit of business I'd be well chuffed.
Send the likes of Suso, Shelvey, Coates and Sterling on loan to Prem teams or top teams in other leagues!

 

Agree on a lot of that. Suso apparently almost done deal to go to Swansea on loan. Shelvey has WHU, Villa, and I think Stoke to go to on loan.

 

Good send them all out I say, I think If Sterling and Suso get more game time, week in week out, they'll turn that potential into something more substantial.
Shelvey is a win-win, he goes, gets game time, improves to the standard we want, welcome back, he goes but doesn't light up the Prem but is seen by the "lesser" teams as a decent option, then we sell him for a decent profit (I guess same would apply to Coates).

 

Suso loaned to the Swans, that would be brilliant for him. All for that

sounds like curtains for Downing,maybe more wage cutting still to do,not that i have an issue with him and Carroll going as they are both useless any way.

I see skill, pace, neat and tidiness and he doesnt look to greedy at all.

 

this guys a striker so i doubt its the end of downing but downing has to be on big money.... for nothing...... we won't find a buyer.
