Garbage. The real double standards were exposed on your own board and by your own supporters, who marched of en masse in protest at your moderation.
Anyone who didn't toe the party line was abused, their responses were deleted and they were eventually banned, even intelligent, articulate and otherwise well received ones.
You stalked HIAG across a number of boards and acted in the same way that you believed warranted a ban.
    Utterly classless.

Is it difficult to understand that we are talking on the one hand about the Spurs board where we do Moderate and the Chelsea board where we do not. Your lack of understanding and digs at us is hardly a good basis for any reconsideration is it!

Let me put it another way. If you want to get back on to the Spurs board it's not too bright to piss off the people who make such decisions is it!

Get your fact straight before posting rubbish, jayram and co were extremely abusive to anyone who suggested wenger should not be sacked and disagreed with them. Several poster including myself were threatened, and one member in particular, hothead sent PM asking anyone who disagreed with him to meet up for a fight (no im not taking the piss) he genuinely was threatening people. They left because there abusive tendencies were being reigned in and they didn't like it.

Jayram and Piskie endlessly rowed back and forth and the tone for the board was set between them.
Hothead's ban was fully deserved, but that doesn't account for the wide variety of other posters who clearly weren't happy and went with them.
I can think of at least two off the top of my head that were absolutely fine on the Spurs board and who posted constructively and intelligently, but got the boot for disagreeing about football matters.

The "wide variety" of posters you mention equated to about five other members. When they left this forum to form their own they proceded to PM other members to get them to leave not606 for which they were banned. After being banned they then started creating multiple accounts with the sole purpose of creating conflict on the Arsenal board.

    Another golden moment from Spurf.

It's all about encouraging the debate one minute and someones hard to see sense of humour, and I don't like your tone so you're not allowed on our board the next.

Once again you just display your own inability to see the two different situations.

You're generalising, GC. Jayram and Hothead might fall into that category, but others like Ammaar, Bergkamp A Dutch Master and PNEAWF got pissed off with the moderation and felt forced out.
That's off the top of my head.
You're showing that this is the case by pointing out that several of your posters left to form their own forum before they were banned.

Ammaar (whose account appears to have been deleted entirely) and PNEawf (whose comments have all been deleted), if I remember right.

Just working with the tools you give me.

Would you care to explain the difference between the situations?

Ammaar asked for a site ban. Have no idea what the **** happened to PNEawf, but I am pretty sure we never banned him because he did not even post that much towards the end. The rest deserved their bans.

Ammaar asked for a ban after being repeatedly attacked by Piskie.
I'm sure that one of your fellow mods will be able to fill you in on what PNEawf did wrong. They may have lost track of all the knives that they were lobbing about, though... <whistle>
I'm sure it was something major.

Ammaar asked to be banned and PNEawf has never been banned. As far as i'm concerned he is still a member of this forum. If he chooses not to post that is his own decision.BADM was the main instigator in getting people to leave and has created various accounts to try and disrupt this forum.I know for certain one of his accounts he set up just to PM people to leave here.I still have a copy of a PM he sent to another member advertising his new site.I know for certain they tried to get some of the Spurs lads to join as some posted on the new site.

As I've already said, Ammaar asked to be banned after claims of being bullied and harassed by Piskie.
    As for PNEawf: http://www.not606.com/member.php/1007531-PNEawf

Ammaar did not leave because he was attacked by Piskie, in fact towards the end it was the other way round, he left cause he disagreed with the moderation of our board and found another forum. He was the only good member that we lost, and I do regret that. Seriously have no clue about PNEawf. He did not even post that much back in the day, cause I can't even remember his views or what he was like.

It's all set out just read the posts. Pointless repeating myself, it's a serious subject so I am not interested in point scoring.

I'd love to be able to prove my point by quoting some of his posts, but his entire posting history was deleted, for some reason.
Didn't you find it a little odd at the time that he was fine on other boards, including the Spurs one where his posts were never a problem, but he had problems on your own?
