Think Benitez left yesterday. Madrid's season isn't over yet so doubt anything will be announced till then.

From what I understand its been agreed in principle and will be signed June 2nd and announced either then or on the 3rd. But given that Jose was spotted at Wembley and is therefore in London, there's every chance he could have signed it today and it'll be announced after Madrid's final home game (June 1st). That would be an even bigger kick in the teeth for Real.

Fairly obvious agent speak. Don't personally think Spurs will accept a bid this year. He will go in a years time like Modric.

Interesting thing re the valuation. Bale is more proven in Europe but Neymar is the darling of Brazilian football, younger and has immense promise. His marketability means he is probably commercially more viable than Bale. The only difference is Neymar had 1 year left on his contract which would have decreased his value.

Bale will end up getting sold for 20 million if he stays this summer it will be just like Modric 40 million this summer but baldy will end up losing the Spuds 20 million because he never sold at the right time.

If it's true we bid 40 million, Levy was a right mug not to take it!! Said at the time that he is a good player but worth nowhere near the money being talked about.

Now that Spurs haven't got CL it would give Levy less options. But if they sell Bale they will do well to get top 6 next season.

Very likely but if they invest it well they could actually do better.

Agreed Bale scores goals but contributes **** all in creation and assists They would be better cashing in and using the money to replace dead heads like Adebeyor, Gallas, Parker, Huddlestone and Defoe. But hey lets hope the bald dwarf keeps him in the vain hope of more cash in Jan or June next year. With Chelsea getting Maureen back and new blood coming in and Arsenal spending at last spuds will do well to secure 6th in front of Liverpool and Villa.

Changed the title a bit so that this thread can be about all other clubs...

I see Hughes has joined Stoke... I honestly don't think he'll keep them up!

Who are Spurs rumoured to be signing this summer?

He did well at Blackburn?Fulham and I see Stoke as that type of team. I don't see anybody going down next year but the 3 coming up.

Villa have some decent youngsters coming through from their academy alas spuds do not and the tea boy will have to rely on the bald dwarfs cheque book if he is to advance further.

PSG will activate the release clause for AVB apparently.

Would be hilarious if it happened, can't see it though. Mancini looks the safe option but it means no progress in the CL for them.

Anyone watching the German Super Cup? Bayern look every bit as clueless as Barca did under Pep bar 2010/11. Dominating possession yet no shape off the ball and inability to defend counter attacks.

We stand a good chance in the Super Cup on tonight's evidence. Dortmund are killing them.
