But for Massa to have been on that side of the tunnel would suggest that Massa was still ahead coming out of Courtier. Hamilton may well have had better traction (owing to the fact he was near enough due to tripping Massa up at the hairpin) and gone up the inside. Massa suddenly finds himself mid-tunnel and unable to take the racing line, Hamilton was not ahead by this stage but was up his inside preventing him moving across.
You do not need to hit someone to force them off the racing line just place your car their and not allow the other in. Again a "you must yield" tactic.

 

I didn't comment on the tunnel incident but I think Jacky_Ickx's opinion is correct

I didn't insult you. I apologised for insulting you. I admit my antipathy towards you is based on the manner in which you slagged this forum off on 606 and, in cahoots with Brogan of CTA, tried to dissuade people from visiting us, and have since posted links to Muzz606 here on not606 in an attempt to lure our members over there, but that has nothing to do with your inability to see what's right in front of your face on TV.

Nobody said anything about Hamilton driving Massa off into the tunnel, to my knowledge. I said Hamilton tried to drive Massa off into the barriers on the outside of the hairpin.

 

Well that clip certainly shows Hamilton never had 4 wheels off the track and he did not drive into Massa in the tunnel.

 

I'm doing my best but people keep wilfully misquoting me.

I never said he drove Massa into the barrier stop twisting people's arguements. He drove/forced Massa offline somewhere (the tunnel) where it has been shown several times over the weekend (Perez, Rosberg etc.) that there is only one line and everything else leads to a meeting with the barriers. Massa is lucky the marbles planted him in the barrier there and brought him to a gentle halt instead of finding himself being planted down at the chicane at high speed

Clearly shows Hamilton was in no fault with the contact at the hairpin and Massa's retirement.

I mistook your comment about barriers to mean the barriers in the tunnel where massa crashed, not the barriers at loews hairpin. My mistake.

My inability to see to see what is happening right in front of my face - sounds like an insult to me but that is only my opnion.

On 606 I have said this place is well modded with a lot of activity but is hard to navigate. Which to me personally it is. But I fear we are going off topic here

Sorry I was responding to a comment by genji not you. He mentioned driving Massa into the barriers. He meant the barriers at loews hairpin but I thought he meant barriers in the tunnel.

Simple mistake on my part.

How? it shows them going at pretty much the same speed in the tunnel as Hamilton pulls alongside however Hamilton is not allowing Massa back onto the racing line. At this point Massa disappears from shot as he has his meeting with the barriers.

 

that video shows clearly that lewis was not to blame for massa's crash.it also shows massa was in no danger when they made contact.

 

We are but it's a pointless thread anyway. I'd like to remind you of the discussion you had with Brogan in which you both quoted various unsavoury threads from the football forums in an attempt to show 606 users what an unsavoury place not606 is, despite those threads having nothing whatsoever to do with the F1 section of not606.
