well its done now so questions abound.

    1. how fit is he, how much is in the tank?

    2. will he play?

    3. what will he really offer? experience, organisation? really?

    4. how much is he paid?

    5. is RHC's secret actually yaya toure joining his bro.

    6. has his troubles with "drugs" gone away??

    7. he's not tall, just 6 foot so again what's be bringing to the table at the back for us? bench space filled??

All in all if i do a man in the street test I don't know how i'd vote on it.

Well that's Skrts gone then. Toure isn't going to be an automatic first teamer, he's experience to give Kelly & Wisdom the time to develop. (At last FSG being flexible about the older dudes when it actually helps promote the success of their youth policy in the long term .) so I take it the Pop is still on the cards?

So that leaves one more & RHC's big one........ooh errrr missus

Oh! Just seem the likelihood of Reina going so, one of the keepers we've been chasing (just in case) is the other one.

    Only RHC's BIG ONE!!!!!

Toure was an unnecessary signing imo. BR seemed desperate to bring in a old head to the squad. But having played 300 plus games and all the experience with it won't mean **** if his legs don't have it now. His best days have long gone And he's not really the perfect Role Model for the younger players nor is he known for his organizations skills. I have no clue what Rodgers is expecting from him.

He's barely featured for City all season, And looked utter ****e when ever he played, like against us for instance.
I definitely want to see Kelly and Wisdom given the Nod ahead of him.
Paying 60ks+ to play in less than 5 games looks poor business to me. And there were better players available for free.
    Douglas, amoborirrieateata??

  7. As someone else said earlier today, we could sit Kevin Keegan on the bench for experience but it won't be able to do **** on the pitch <ok>

Recently watched him against Chelsea and he was superb. Still has a lot to offer, the bench warming tag can be deceiving. He's 32, but he is no slouch, he can still get around the pitch at a decent pace. What he has over Skrtel is that he's very much a ball playing CB, comfortable on it and can pick out a pass. He does have experience, which is only good if you have the ability to play at a good level - which he does. Very shrewd signing, has played and trained with some of the top attackers in world football. Henry, Bergkamp, Aguero, Tevez, Van Persie etc. Very happy with this signing and nice to see it done early.

  9. Some good points in there <ok>

Like with all players, I'm reserving judgement until he's played at least twenty to thirty games <ok>

Martin Kelly was training in Latchford ABA Club yesterday evening, just near the Cheese. He said he can't wait for the new season <ok>

  16. I'd love Kelly to find some fitness and be in the first team, we just can't take the chance on that being the case.
