El Mondo 7.30 Ballinrobe is interesting.

Ran in three novice 'chases to get a mark and performed reasonably well since the object was to keep a bit hidden..potentially well in here gauged on his hurdle mark.

The problem is the trip.I had him marked for a 2m4f event and not entirely sure Ballinrobe's tight turns will suit given his hold up and staying on profile. The softer ground will help.

    I'm therefore gonna play a few quid e/w @ 7/1.

Oh what did Barry almost do there?

Rebel Fitz killed them all as expected.

At that price though you have to back it properly and those that had would have been ****ting themselves.

    Ban for Barry

    Almost

I was at the KB point to point at the weekend and was told to have a bit each way on COOL CASCADE at Fontwell tomorrow. The further the trip the better apparently. Early show is 8-1. 3.40.

Cracking run and probobly should have won and I think NP thought he had in the bag but came a little wide turning in and Davy Condon rode a cracker on the winner.El Mondo needs farther ultimately and a stiffer track.Strange run by the well backed favourite...totally gone after a mile.

Quite liked the Lanigan winner there at Yarmouth. He's turning into a right little Mark Prescott with all these three times raced middle distance bred 2-y-o 's winning h'caps first time up at 3.
