The yard are very excited about her. As I've said before, the words used to me were "She's good. Very good."
I read a stat earlier that the yard haven't had any first time up 2 year old winners this early in the season for 5 years. She's now the first with that lofty accomplishment. She looked really good from 3 out. Looked a little troubled 1.5 furlongs out but when it clicked into place there was no stopping her. Nothing but impressed. Royal Ascot bound I presume.
She travelled so well she would have hosed up at 5f and won in a style that she actually could easily get farther at this stage but the Albany and then the Cherry Hinton may be the plan..she wouldn't carry a penalty in that if she wins the Albany. Edit..too late!..didn't see your post PN..that could be some race..some nice fillies in Ireland this year so far also.
All very interesting. I wonder what her price will be in the 2014 renewal of the 1000? There'll be ridiculous over reaction from bookies and some sentimental Frankel fans who will have a couple of quid on her.
Was it that good? If she wasn't Frankel's half sister would you lot be thinking of backing her at 4/1 for the Albany off the back of that run?
I've backed Soul Magic in the 3.20 at Cartmel tomorrow. 7/2. won off this mark at this track twice. Loves Cartmel. Nothing else in the race has won there whilst this chap has won 5 times from 7 races. 7/2 is too big.
RAVENSBURG is interesting in the next at Yarmouth. Really nice pedigree. Yard bang in form and is certainly being nibbled at in the market.
The style of the win was impressive, not just her pedigree, but you will get the Frankel fans backing her blind. I liked that and only Saayerr lasy week at Salisbury has impressed me amongst the juveniles so far this season..early days although DA debuted in March last year.
