must be a done deal he is going to Everton then, he wouldn't have left if he didn't have something else lined up, and i cant imagine it would be Stoke.
I admire Martinez's style of football but at Wigan, he progressively got worse. If he does go to Everton, at least he'll have a good defence in place but I fear his tactics will compromise with it.

If it is Everton it's a decent choice for him and the club. Yeah Wigan were perpetual strugglers in the prem. but on their day they were a match for anyone. With a stronger squad at his disposal he can do well.
Liverpool management said they never contacted him for vacant job.How can he turn them down when he was not shortlisted?.
He's already won more then Moyes ever did and he did it with a lot less money then Moyes had but if he wants to play some decent football he will have to get rid of most of the current Everton squad.
Who would you prefer as struggling to see any other viable candidates for the job apart from Laudrup.
No disrespect but he's too good for you lot. Martinez and Laudrup are good candidates who will promote good attractive football.
I think he's probably too nice to control big egos- but we'll see. Next season looks like being so interesting, I'm almost wishing the summer away.
