Both teams deserve to go into liquidation. I hope they both do.

Yes, it was a penalty but I’ve seen more blatant penalties not given.

So, how many have Palace had this year? Must be nearly 20? Anyone know what the record is?

It’ll be interesting to see how many pens they get in the Prem. I’d suggest very few. They have the ‘nice London club’ thing going for them which will help so far but in the scheme of things they’ll rightfully be perceived as a small club which means you generally get **** all.

I wanted Palace up despite them generally displaying high levels of ****itude: their fans seem aloof and nerdy in a deeply unattractive way. Naturally, I think they’ll be more likely to go down (than Watford) and Holloway will attract most of the ‘lets laugh at the little clubs’ media attention and help keep it away from us.

They've had 16 penalties this season, not sure what the all time record is though.

What a truely awful game to watch. Fear, nerves or whatever5 took over especially Watford. They kept one of there worst performances of the season (hornets fans) for the most important game. As for the penalty(stone wall pen) that won the game what the feck was Cassetti doing and thinking ? Zaha was going nowehere. Good result for us as Palace are nowhere near as good as Watford and they wont have Zaha or Murray next season. Well Murray until the new year at least. What a championship it will be next season. Glad we are PREMIER LEAGUE. :1980_boogie_down:

    Thanks for that.

I thought it was circa 16 when they got two against us; so, I assumed they must have had a few more before the season's end.

Really? I see it as more contemptible than what Watford have done

How so? Surely it's clutching at straws to say Watford didn't even deserve a shot at promotion, when they have played within the rules all season?
