A fair amount, although the youth players released won't have been on much of a wage, their contracts are mostly appearance and incentive based and the basic wage is fairly low. I thought Oli was closer to 30k to be honest, wonder how much Sheffield Wednesday will be paying him...

Oli had a relegation clause, we were paying him less than £20k.

The released players have apparently saved us £60k a week.

McCourt is garbage. Set the place alight the first few games he played, then downhill from there. The Celtic fans would pay his train fare down to Hull, they hate him.

Forster is ok, but I think we can get better.

It could be a few players, Izaguirre the left back who's v v good, could even be Ledley or Hooper.

Have to say I'm a little surprised to read some of the comments on here about Zaha. This could turn out to be a classic "egg on face" moment but I reckon he will be one of England's mega-stars in a few years.

I think he proved a lot of people wrong yesterday, including myself. Its' the first time i've seen him perform though.

Didnt somebody just say he aint worth 2m on here lol!!!! Quality performance yesterday, thought his final ball was lacking in the first half but he soon grew into the game, as for beating his man he took the piss out of Watfords Rightback time and time again a 30+ year old veteran with 5 caps for Italy, rated as one of the best in the championship by some.

Big things to come from Zaha especially with the coaching set up at United, and players he'l be surrounded by everyday.

Just hope the likes of Sterling, Zaha and Oxlaide-Chamberlain dont fizzle out and can go on to produce for England, Imagine those 3 behind a decent striker , pace to burn.

Zara is brilliant on the ball, but his decision making is ****.

Kevin Phillips straight after the game, 'he's a great talent, but he's got a lot to learn'.

If Man United can stop him trying to play through three defenders, when there was a perfectly simple pass to be made, he could be a great player.

I'd still rather have Ince though.

His legs seems totally random, he can wave them about at crazy speed which sometimes results in a really good quick turn but other times the ball ends up behind him, like when he went through one-on-one yesterday, late on (might have been ET in fact) but his first touch consisted of about 7 wacky stepovers with the ball ending up behind him and let defenders catch him up.

    Agree about Ince.
