That's a bit unfair matey. We threw a lot of points away before then: Bristol City, Charlton, Millwall, Posh, Burnley, Wolves to name a few. The Leeds game should never have come into it.
No mention of a hot headed moment resulting in you being a man short then? Very harsh to blame the keeper. As has been mentioned, there were plenty of other cases where 'blame' could be shared.
i spoke to him tonight, what a strange bloke he is! Meanwhile, what a hugely disappointing day. Not because we were outplayed, because we weren't. If we'd been playing as we do, we would have won. We weren't there. Where was Deeney for example? Almunia, Doyley...and to a certain extent Hogg..were great. Everyone else might as well have been invisible. As has been said...what a day to pick to play our worst game of the season. Though to be fair, Bristol City we were pretty darn awful! Geijo was good, but i think a burst of Forestieri at that point would have helped our cause...he came on too late, and yet when he came on, the whole mood of the game changed. We had chances suddenly. The best thing to come out of today was the Palace were almost as awful as us, and without a huge injection of some talent, they are on the way down. Holloway to be sacked by Christmas anyone? So, bring on next season. I am convinced we'll be champions!
We played ****e today. The only thing I wanted to ask, were we in with any decent penalty shouts? (Hard to see from where I was sat)
But what can you do? You'll pick yourselves up, dust yourselves down, (same as any team would do), and carry on the campaign into next season, it's all you can do... Good Luck next season, Hornets (except for the two obvious matches), you deserved better yesterday...
All been said..... thanks WFC for a great season.. Anyone want a pair of Watford pyjamas....worn once.... I don't really feel like wearing them any more,,,
I dont think so somehow The bookies see one team as clear favourites http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/championship/next-season-winner
But as Mrs Bloother pointed out, if we achieved all we did this season with so little prep time, imagine what we can achieve next season.
Yes .... but I think the relegated clubs will be stronger.... plus Forest, Brighton, Leicester and I think Leeds,,, but we have a great manager.... I am just worried we will lose Vydra, Abdi, Anya..... and I am sure Chalobah will go to a prem club... I would love to hear.... the man is a nincompoop!
The relegated teams from the premiership struggled last season QPR do have the strongest squad but how many will they sell and will they actually play as a team next year
Harry has already made veiled threats that he'll be off if there isn't a shed-load of money for transfers!
