Even if the police had some new bullshit rules about people carrying flags they would just confiscate it it, she must have been shouting abuse or something to get arrested

This post is just the kind of mis-information that really worries me and angers me tbh. This woman clearly has not been arrested for carrying a union flag but for trying to incite an incident by also carrying an offensive banner as well, and has tried to cover that up as innocent by carrying the national flag as well. Just as some have been radicalised by false propaganda to become suicide bombers or murder people on the streets of Britain in the mistaken belief they speak for the majority of their religion, there are equally false and dangerous propaganda circulating that has radicalised a growing portion of the indigenous population. Don't let the maliciously misinformed start a cavalry charge of emotion and do their dirty work for them.
I found that article within about 5 minutes of reading the post, so it's not like it's hard to find. Plenty of right wing blogs and websites who are using this to stir **** up as well. Its mad.
Stop soiling a good story with facts. There is an under-lying theory to this story, one of which most are in denial about. Flying the union flag, st george (ha that makes me laugh, st george, **** you) and it's a no no.
What are you on about Niall? Comm there is no underlying theory to it at all you can wave the union or st George's flag where ever you want.
I find it deeply sad and worrying that there is a growing element of right wing lunatic politics that is found appealing to the so called disenfranchised section of both the young and old of this country. The EDL and the BNP do not speak for me and stand for none of the greatness that is associated with this magnificent country of ours. I was deeply effected and saddened by the events of this week and shed a tear when I saw pictures of the family and child. Its heartbreaking stuff but then I cant see where attacking mosques and innocent members of society balances things up? There are many right wing groups who will have us all at each others throats because in chaos they grow stronger. There is much work to be done to stop what is wrong and put into place what needs to be done (and there is much to be done tbh) but thats the job of the Govt and the security services. What we sadly lack are real leaders in times of difficulty and Cameron/Clegg/Miliband et al are just not the right people to sort this out. We need a PM who is not scared to tackle the big issues and the difficult questions, not a PR man too frightened of his own shadow and desire not to lose power to actually do the right thing. I despair at times.

Agree with most of that mate apart from the Government Security Forces bit. What we need is some of the shackles removed and some of the red tape loosened so our protectors can do their jobs without someone screaming for their Civil Rights. This goes for all extremists whether Muslim, right wing, left wing or any other wing for that matter. Civil Rights should be used to protect the victims not the perpetrators, that is where we are going wrong.
We need to be able to deport those people who wish us harm without all the ridiculous financial costs attached and years of fighting. Tell the European Court of Law to **** off and just take the perpetrators off these islands and dump them somewhere else. I care not where that may be so long as it isn't the UK. If Brussels doesn't like it, we should take them all there and hand them over for them to sort out. We need to take control of our country again but through the ballot box not the jack booted bully boys.
