Well we finally hit rock bottom !

Well done guys with todays posting we finally did it , we can't be satisfied with bitching and arguing amongst ourselves, we now have a mod calling for the resignation of a fellow mod .

This shambolic state of affairs does ,in my opinion, leave either Ashs or Mustyfrogs position untenable.

I for one would want to see Ash stay on as Mod as he is a level headed and calming influence. He has been both diplomatic and has tried at all times to find the common ground.

Whereas the other is an embarrasement , he is abusive, doesn't think things through and several of his posts are basically cringeworthy. He treats this as his personal forum and has had to be reigned in by other Mods namely Ash on several occasions and I see his Resignation thread as a cheap attempt to get rid of Ash.

As I said one of them should go and I say it is Mustyfrog not Ash that should go!

 

So by putting this thread up it just shows that you are asking people to chose between one or the other! This is a new low!

If someone wants to leave then go, stop the whining and just piss off. Basically it's up to the person involved, if they leave so be it, if they stay again so be it.

Can this **** thread be merged with the other **** threads put up over the last few days please moderators.

 

I just read that other thread. Had to do so 3 times just to make sure i was actually reading it correctly.

Was just speechless for about 5 minutes and I've had to think long and hard about what to say. When you see things like that then a knee jerk reaction isn't going to help anybody.

For what it's worth I think what Musty has done should have been done via the pm process and not on the board in plain view of everyone.
The origin of the problem is Cartoon's reaction to having his thread closed. Not being funny here but toys and pram spring to mind. So what ? It was explained why it was closed and bleating on the Cardiff board is just sour grapes. I had a thread closed for the same reason and I accepted the mods decision because it was the common sense thing to do.
Since then we have had Ash post his comment on their board. For what it's worth I think Ash was wrong saying what he did and was wrong where he said it.
Now we move on to Mustys thread, again this is wrong too, it's a catalogue of errors by three people that has led to this domino effect culminating in this thread.

Here are my suggestions,
Cartoon man up please and just accept the mods decision was not personal it was for the good of the board.
Ash, I know you're pissed off but dont put comments like that on anyone else's board please.
Musty, take that thread down will you it's embarrassing, practice what you preach and man up because if you don't then Ash gets my vote if push comes to shove.

Ps, nice to see you back FFS the place isn't the same without you.

Forgot about the temp mod thing. Isn't Ash the only permanent mod and the other 3 temp ones ?

 

As far as I am aware Dill yes. Once Ash is ready to resume 100% I'll be resigning

I'm on the cusp of leaving as well. To much in house fight no fun on here any more. Their won't be many posters here soon.

 

I think that you two have both done a good job as mods and don't see any reason why either of you should step down. Musty on the other hand seems to have put his head in the noose here.

 

Why he's only saying what he thinks, Ash has said he wants to go, so being a moderator on a website you don't visit is a little difficult. I'm not backing anyone here, but if someone doesn't want to be here, then go elsewhere.

 

Why should Ash go ? The OP has abused Swans fans on several boards over time, so only he is allowed to say what he thinks? Go over to the Cardiff board our remf keyboard warrior is really doing a good job over there, he criticised others for doing it yet he's allowed to run amok in our good name? Don't think so pal.

 

Did I say Ash should go ? All I said is that if he wants to go then go. If he wants to stay then stay. In reality it's down to him if he goes or stays not us. But now I can see the same divisions between Musty and the clique and Dai and the clique.

 

There it is again, ' the clique ' . Who or what is the 'clique'

 

The shame is that two of the temp mods have shown up and are being honourable to be fair to them. The 3rd one, the op is nowhere to be seen.

After all the crap that Ash has been through in his life for Musty to put this thread up is a fcuking disgrace.

 

Now as I totally agree with this , I can't be seen to do so otherwise it may be misconstrued that I am in a 'clique' unfortunately . Sorry Jager couldn't resist pal.

 

The ones who simply gang up on people and create multiple threads and posts in getting their agenda across. As been mentioned before as someone looking in on this objectively they can see a clique is here.

I'm not backing musty or the moderators here, they are their own people and are quite capable as adults in defending their positions. But deliberately putting threads out about this then daring people to either back musty or Ash is unfair and as I said a new low to the forum.

 

Personally I think a lot of our own fans are acting like a bunch of old women. Some perspective is needed but each individual must find that out for themselves I guess.

All the Swans posters on here are great, sometimes there is a tendency to get into it a bit too much,something ive been guilty of in the past.

 

An honest appraisal , we have had cross words in the past pal, but it's been inboard. What grips my **** is when a Swan supporter is bad mouthed on another board in front of other fans, by another so called supporter.

That to me is totally out of order, and then for that same person to call for someones resignation because he had the audacity to say that he was fed up with the continual crap on this board is beyond belief.

 

Agree 100% FFS . Yes we have had our hand bags stuff but both of us were man enough to move on and respect the other view point/poster . people will never agree 100% about stuff and sometimes it will get heated .

I also agree totally about not showing a united front when on other fans forums, especially if its something really petty . That to me is a big no no . It almost happened on here the other day when i was having words with the bloob wums. Thankfully it never came to an embarrasing situation.

I have no idea what was said and dont really want to know either, i dont go on their message boards as its a pointless exercise .


As i said before, half these tit for tat things wouldnt even get heated if it was taking place in a bar after the game, never be afraid to say what you say on here to somebodies face,that way you have your self regulation and basic level of respect, of course it will differ from person to person

 

Exactly pal, which for me makes it even more distasteful what's gone on ,on the kuala lumpit board . Another example had previously taken place on the qpr board. After that little episode at least Ash had the balls to tell our antipodean chump to apologise to a long time poster on this board .

No time for him to go and as I've said we can go with three mods or maybe you can dust off the old mods hat yourself ?

 

If Ash goes, cant blame him. He doesnt need this in his life

 

Again totally agree, we know what this board means to Ash and to ask for his resignation in my opinion is totally out of order and distasteful!

 

Especially after what he's been through. I think he views us as extended family now and asking him to resign is thoughtless and selfish
