It would be harsh to disagree with that sentiment, some have seen enough and no doubt, who are we to argue..............

I just don't get all this claptrap about him having a thankless task as the lone striker.
He played that position for Swansea & Norman Stanley did it quite well until he got injured.
Graham is ****e, simple as that. Sick of this "oh he works hard" bollox. I could mix cement like a good cement mixer, doesn't mean I can lay ****ing bricks does it?

Another ****e decision by MON, clueless without Robertson.

Generally speaking the lads on here don't want him (me included).

So as an estimate, out of 40,000 fans who attend games, only a few thousand do want him.

I'm sure Paolo is wise enough to see what he really is. ****ing useless.

What is it about SAFC that we get players who've done well for other clubs yet they turn into dross on arrival on Wearside ?

Its the unconditional support they get from the fans...........

Supporters are the first to complain if a player shows no loyalty.

We all know whats behind it.

Bad player managment? Lazy, not thought through training sessions? Could even be the wage hikes. One thing is for sure though, times are changing? <ok>

But he didn't do good enough at these other clubs to command a move to Sunderland he again was a panic buy and is simply not good enough IMO end of story

I haven't read the comments but from my end he looks like a typical English football player that got lucky. In a Swansea team of skill and holding the ball then the ball has to go somewhere in the end and Danny Graham was the place, bloody hell Andy Gray would have looked the part in that team. I like the way Swansea do things, have their own agenda and produce players teams pay a lot of money for and play with skill and style. I honestly believe Di Canio will have us doing that as would any honest Swansea fan..

I watched him last 2 games and the bloke was terrible! Sauntered up to close the keeper down then walked back so when we got the ball we couldn't use his ability to hold the ball up(which I know he can do)

He had no drive firvthe team and, OK he's scored none which is you don't mind I'd he brings something else but he doesn't

Funny on another thread a contributor is wanting loyalty from Mignolet as Arsenal are sniffing about him, yet Graham gets fcuk all from his own fans.

    It's funny old game.

also in my opinion he has not been awarded three spot kicks, which if he took the kicks would be top goals for games ratio

During the game, all players should be given all the support we can muster, but it doesn't happen that way..It seems that these days a heck of a lot of our fans have to have at least one scapegoat to vent their pent up anger on..

There's a difference being a lone striker in a good attacking team full of confidence with intelligent, technical players and being the lone striker in a poor defensive minded team low on confidence and playing with players who lack quality & technical ability.

DG did a job for Swansea in his first season, not so much in his second.but Laudrup was happy to cash in and go the rest of the season without a first choice striker(Michu being a midfielder) which tells you what he thought of Danny.

I think Sunderland have all the potential to be top 5/6 but they don't seem to have a long term plan (just an observation,i could be totally wrong) in terms of finding a playing style and sticking to it.

O'neil to De canio is a perfect example IMO. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that the players that De canio will want are going to be totally different to the ones under O'neil . DG is not a technical player,he is an average joe player who will score goals if spoon fed . De canio wants pro players who live the right way 24/7 im not sure DG is that either!

It seems to me that a lot of clubs change manager and don't even consider what playing staff they already have and what system of play they want the club to adopt, so you have a massive turnover of players and piss money up the wall as a result of a lack of a vision/long term stratergy. The new guy is instantly not going to like 6/7 players and want his own type of player in and his own style of playing ! It must piss off the fans big time !!

Swans don't have much money and are a small fish in a big pond so 6 yrs ago decided to find a style of football and fit the coaches and managers to the playing squad, Roberto Martinez to Paulo Sousa to Brendne Rodgers to Laudrup each have added but the core of the group have stayed the same.

Hopefully Paulo will do well, I love his **** you attitude and Sunderland are far too big a club to be ****ing around with relegation. <ok>

Hopefullt Paulo will build it the right way,
