QPRâs Redknapp now favourite for Everton FC job ct-redknappIt could be that the bookies are feeling the same confusion as the increasingly frustrated fans, or it could be that someone, somewhere knows something, but Harry Redknapp is the new favourite to take over the role of Everton manager. The QPR manager was being backed heavily last night and this morning to become the man to fill the Goodison Park hot seat. Redknapp has become increasingly frustrated with life at Loftus road over the past couple of weeks and has issued owner Tony Fernandes a ultimatum of a number of big signings in the summer or he is off âIf I canât change it around during the summer and get some good lads in, I wouldnât want to come back,â he said. However, the plausibility of Redknapp heading to a club which has even less money to spend than QPR is a little dubious. There is even talk that Redknapp could take the post with former Everton captain Phil Neville as his assistant. Coralâs now have Redknapp as low as 7/4, but intriguingly and more plausibly, Mike Phelan, who left his position as assistant coach of Manchester United this morning, has also entered the betting frame. Current odds for next Everton manager Roberto Martinez 5/1 Harry Redknapp 7/4
Morning Yappy. I'm with you on this, I think there's a whole lot of uncertainty and jostling for position that's going on at the moment.
Harry is the favourite for any job that comes up now, I'll be amazed if he's still with us in August...
Scouseville way to far up country from Sandbanks for 'arry, but Brighton a mere bus ride for him now he got his bus card !!!!!!!!
Love it, mate ..................... Can't see Harry going to Everton. They haven't spent a cent in the past ten years, why would they start now? Besides, Mrs Red has just come from a 'blue & white' jumper and would want the same, again. Before that, black & white so surely now, it will be red & white or one of the other thousand & one colours!
Transfers - nothing too dramatic, in or out, for David Moyes , but it (they) certainly worked for him. http://www.evertonfc.com/match/transfers.html?alt_page_var=pageIn&pageOut=1&pageIn=1
