Make of it what you will.

Bony is a strong player and can score a hatful but I'd like to see more from these Isles, we need the character more common from domestic talent in my opinion. Such as Charlie Austin, Aiden Mcgeady, Tom Ince, Nathan Redmond, Andy King, Aaron Cresswell, Johnny Evans/Martin Kelly, Frazer Forster and Harry Mcguire :)

I hope not, but if Hatem is only fit for 15 games a season, then I'd take 10-12m and buy someone better and more consistent.

This is standard speculative journalism. This bit gave me a bit of a chuckle though 'Newcastle’s problems have increased with uncertainty over veteran striker Shola Ameobi' however, Cant see ben arfa keen on moving to france unless his team PSG. I would for sure take Bony. I agree tho. We need to start giving some british players a chance. If we have any desire for Campbell to develop into a first team player we need to start getting him on the pitch next season.

Dutch papers are silent on this, two Dutch websites quoting the mirror. Last news was on the 22nd that Anzhi was enquiring for transfer fees but no bids so far. Considering that it's the mirror and this is published right after the CL Final I'd call it BS.

We have absolutely no chance and this summer will end up exactly like every window!

we spend a few million in the winter so I fully expect at least Ben Arfa, Colo and Santon to be sold this summer so in all honesty we might as well get used to seasons like this season for many many years to come.

Pardew will be out in no time once we start getting turned over again.

Good idea, otherwise the forum may be clogged with speculative transfer threads.

"Midfielder who made his name down the road at Marseille is a target for club throwing the cash around to mark return to Ligue 1"

"Newcastle’s Hatem Ben Arfa is on super-rich Monaco’s hit-list, with a £10million move to take the Frenchman ‘home’ in the pipeline, writes the Sunday People."

No problem Marseilles, he's all yours.

Oh, by the way, Benni is the one on the LEFT! <ok>

Now Bony is the kind of player I would like to see playing for NUFC.

The problem we seem to have now is that all the strikers we've been linked to are now being linked all over the place. The chances of us competing for higher transfer and / or wages are very slim, so for every good prospect that makes news headlines, we're more likely to miss out.

We need to move heaven and earth to keep Shola at the club.

If he leaves I can see a lot of other players questioning our long term vision and direction if we are just going to let our best players just walk away from the club.

How on earth can we attract top quality players to the club when we are not willing to offer one of our 'purple' players a new deal and just see him leave on a free in a years time.

    Sack the board !
