http://www1.skysports.com/football/...to-join-Hull-City-permanently-from-Sunderland Give him whatever the hell he wants, he's key to our success and will be again next year in my opinion!
Rumours he wants more than what he is on up there though. Think Sunderland previously paid top dollar to get players to move up there too
I wouldn't go that far, he had a good season barring the big games towards the end of the season. I certinaly wouldn't give him what the hell he wants. Afterall he couldn't get in a struggling Sunderland side, maybe Bruce has other targets. This is presuming all this paper talk is true
The transfer window doesn't open until 1st July, so only players whose contracts have expired can be signed at the moment. I wouldn't over pay for anyone, if Elmo wants too much, we should look elsewhere.
you can sign players before the window opens , its like a pre signing (on the paper work its says sign here but contract wont start until 1st july. not just free transfers, anyone. examples of cash signing so far before it opens, its like buying a car and it aint delivered until 1st july. paperworks been signed. Sascha Riether (contract runs out 2014) but signed for fulham), with cash Ricky van Wolfswinkel ( 2016) but signed for norwich with cash Javier Garrido 2014 contract ends but aleady signed aleaddy Allan McGregor (2014) with cash Jake Carroll (2013)
Cheers my bad. I think Bruce and the allams will be sensible about how much we spend i would be surprised if we overpaid on players.
You can sign pre-contracts, but only when your contract runs out this summer. Otherwise you'll have two contracts.
**** him he either fits into our wage structure or do one. He's unproven in the premier league and is extremely windy. Take it or leave it Elmo.

check it out then Ricky van Wolfswinkel On 3 June 2011 he moved to Sporting CP, signing a 5 year contract, On 23 March 2013 , it was announced that Premier League side Norwich City had agreed to sign Van Wolfswinkel for €10 million plus bonuses so his contract had not expired with past club and He will join the Canaries on 1 July 2013 on a 4-year deal BEFORE THE WINDOW OPENED NOW WHOS THE SILLY **** HAHHHA
Bollocks, I say again bollocks. You cannot register a player until the window opens if he is already under contract with another club. Just in case you missed it You cannot register a player until the window opens if he is already under contract with another club. Daft ****, Daft ****!
If city offer him 15k a week and somebody else offers him 25k a week then he will be gone and I don't blame him, hell I'm city till I die but not 10 thousand quid a week. I'd play for Leeds United for an extra 10 grand a week and kiss the badge every Saturday ha ha ha. He likes playing here and he likes the Bruce and Allam connections. Now for a couple of thousand a week maybe not but an extra 50k a month that's different. If he does go then good luck to him, he owes us nowt and he was a pretty big part on getting us auto promotion, thing is we don't want to get into bidding wars with richer clubs that's what ****ed us up last time
as much as i hate to say it epic cheese is right Registering a player is a completely different ball game
July the 1st, July the 1st... oh God no - another month of pointless speculation about this keeper or that keeper or the other keeper and the same goes with strikers. Hopefully Bruce and the Allams can get all the signings sorted in the next week or so (holidays allowing) so we can reveal all the signings in one tranche.
Um, not really, he (Epic) said it himself. Norwich had agreed to sign Wolfswinkel. No binding contract was signed. If Wolfie had received a better offer he could have reneged on the deal as the pre agreement was binding in honour only. Similarly, had the EPL refused for some reason to register Wolfie, then Norwich would not be bound. This is particularly likely when the player is coming in from outside the Football League/EPL jurisdiction.
