Again I know he is 30 odd, ex Sunderland, but I'd take him if price was right...... Not sure whether he is right man to partner Cisse but he is a proven goal scorer everywhere he goes......

On another note, are there any good free transfers available this summer?

And its about time Paul Tisdale is brought in to replace Pardew.....

    That is all.....

No thanks. He's already getting paid way more than we'd offer him anyway.

Not sure about the first two parts, but agree with the third.

Not having Bent, very limited striker. I'd much rather take a chance on an up and coming striker give the wages he'd command.

Free transfers - these were on a list I was sent a couple of months ago:

Javier Saviola, Joaquin and Manuel Iturra? (all Malaga), Verdu (Espanyol), Van Buyten?, Ivanschitz (still makes me chuckle because I'm immature),Javier Pinola - Argentian left sided defender playing for Nuremburg, Sergio da Silva Pinto - Portuguese right-winger playing for Hannover 06, Ciprian Marica - Romanian international playing for Schalke, Daniel Schwaab - German right-back playing for Bayer Leverkusen, Anatoliy Timoschchuk - Ukranian international captain and Bayern Munich holding midfielder, Fabrizio Miccoli - Palermo, Mathieu Flamini - AC Milan, Christian Abbiati - AC Milan, Rolando Bianchi - Ex Man City striker currently playing for Torino, Nene - Brazilian striker currently playing for Bologna,
Morgan De Sanctis - Italian goalkeeper currently playing for Napoli, David Pizarro - Chilean central midfielder currently playing for Fiorentina, Mickael Landreau - French goalkeeper currently playing for SC Bastia, John Utaka - Former Portsmouth winger playing for Montpellier, Siaka Tiene - Left back/Left winger and Ivory Coast international currently playing for PSG, Daniel Braaten - Norwegian winger/striker currently playing for Toulouse, Sylvain Armand - Left sided defender currently playing for PSG, Douglas - Brazilian defender currently playing for FC Twente. Has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, Miralem Sulejmani - Serbian and Ajax attacking midfielder, Ryan Babel - Ex Liverpool winger currently playing for Ajax, Atiba Hutchinson - Canadian midfielder, currently playing for PSV, Boy Waterman - Dutch goalkeeper currently playing for PSV.

Two of the better ones who originally appeared were Razvan Rat and Amorebieta who have signed for West Ham and Fulham respectively.

    Leave King Pardew alone! <laugh>

    Boy Waterman- what a name!

As for Bent- he'll want quite a wage, is injury prone, is limited as a footballer and is an idiot.

You're giving your age away if you can remember him.

To be fair think he is 28 or 29, has experience and knows how to score a load of goals, would say yes if he was prepared to take a wage cut. Plenty of Sunderland fans opinions would suggest this wouldn't be the case.
