tbh Welbeck did play in the same role in sunderland running int defenders with great pace and working hard to gain the ball and take it forward .. will he be a hit if he played to a more central role in the box ?.. not sure . my initial opinion, i think he will do better at wide areas and attacking deep

which matches? just to look at those 2 goals regarding who is better sturridge or Welbeck ? i rate both the same and I think both are 2 different type of players .. but watching both playing for the england national side, i think Welbeck did slightly better overall, but again sturridge was disadvantaged by not playing alot of football in chelsea, am sure his liverpool career will help him more , and he can develop and take that 2nd striker sport from Wlebeck may be in near future
Welbeck for England great, plays in different pos for United this season hence no goals really. Sturridge at International level, untested at full, but since Suarez ban has been great for Pool, overall play = Welbeck going for goals I say Sturridge.
