Police shoot to kill policy needs changing now!

Chatting to some sensible police officers today and they are all in agreement with me the law needs changing on this matter,they think to many do gooders are changing the rules.Years ago if police saw a man with a knife or gun bang bang bang no questions asked -now they just aim to hurt them.Whats everyones views on the new law its not fair in my view for the officer if he gets done protecting the public discuss please

 

I don't know who you've been talking to but they're completely wrong.
Armed police officers are told to go for the most effective shot, which is almost always going to be to centre mass.
They shoot to put people down.

 

In this particular case a good old fashioned pistol whipping would make great telly Jono.

 

Regardless i'm glad they're alive and hope they stand trial. I think we need to show the world that they've been given a fair hearing as it shows that we won't stoop to their level (in our courts at least before we get the whole iraq Afghanistan thing again). This may not always have been the case so let's do it now.
