Seriously, the only thing that worries me is how many we'll win by. :1980_boogie_down:

Nah, really, need to be on top form and show Palace what we can do. Keep Zaha and Bolasie quiet? IS that Zola's plan? I think we'll just try to out play them...big pitch should suit us.

DO WE GET TO TRAIN THERE BEFORE HAND?

Danm still a few days...this is getting serious now...

I am quietly confident.... I would bet on us to win.,.... and yes the big pitch and the sheer number of decent players we have should suit us better in my view......

I thought someone said that the pitch is exactly the same size as theVic? Is that wrong?

I get the feeling that Palace believe that if Zaha plays well, they will win. That is putting a lot of pressure on a young man's shoulders. Psychologically Palace may feel confident because they beat their bitter rivals away to get to the final. We, on the other hand, know how close we were to losing the semi-final, so we know that we can take nothing for granted.

Will Bolasie start? Recently Williams has been chosen to start in front of him. It would be bold of him to start with all 3 (+Zaha) in the starting line-up. I fancy he will set them up (Bolasie & Zaha) to run at our wing-backs as that is their best chance for sure.

Well according to the football ground guide our pitch is bigger

    Wembley- Pitch Size: 105m x 68m

Vicarage Road- Pitch Size: 115 x 75 yards

Selhurst Park- Pitch Size: 110 x 74 yards

The worrying stat is the last one. It is very similar in dimensions.

If I've got my metric conversions right the Wembely & Watford pitches are within half a yard of being the same size

sorry, was rushing the post and only just noticed the difference in measurements. OOPSIE.

converted measurements 114 yards x 74. So wembley is longer, and about the same width. i doubt it will make such a difference. After all, we can run the length, but palace hoofball would work too.

Well I am off on holiday to Switzerland tomorrow and will miss the match. Sky is set and I am not going near anything or anyone that will tell me the result until I have seen it on Sky.

I hope its a great match with both teams playing well and the best one on the day wins.

Enjoy yourselves everyone and add a decibel for me.

I think the reason they say Wembley is such a big pitch is because players are usually at the end of an exhausting season when they play there that that, along with the neviousness and emotion, tires the legs more than normal fixtures.

HULL CITY FAN IN PEACE. ^^^^^ these. Good Luck and i shall be watching and hopeing that you guys win.
This seasons top 3 without a DOUBT imo deserve to go up as we have played the best football over 46 games and got the most points. If Watford play there A game then Palace wont have a chance. See you in the PL.

When we played palace at home Williams came on at half time and really pulled the strings for them. In fact I thought he was the stand out player, and was THE reason palace got back to two-all.

If you listen to palace fans they think Williams is a better player than Zaha.

I hope all the focus isn't on Zaha and we forget about Williams, that in my eyes would be where we could come undone. Maybe this is what hollowhead is banking on.
