If you read it correctly Jager I did`nt say a complete ban for Cardiff fans. Only the few who will keep hurling insults & vitriol, and then only after being warned as to their behaviour. It applies to Swans fans as well. <ok>

Yes I know, it`s still pretty good though, isn`t it?

P.S. What do you call yourselves now you ditched the blue colour and have a dragon in place of the bird?

I don't believe I've read it wrong, you said people want a complete ban, that plainly is not true as evidenced by the thread about this.

One of my better decisions when I moderated here, and pleased that the subsequent moderators have decided to keep JH banned.

Some people do want a complete ban Jager. Not me, I`m happy for them to come over here, as long as they keep their views reasonable.

To suggest that the problem lies with The Swans' is quite outrageous, and needs to be backed up,or withdrawn.

I'm not surprised there is some confusion in the air with all the bollox that has been posted.

Must admit it has been compelling in a 'car crash' sort of way, but the bitterness is quite astonishing. And all this 'he said, she said' stuff is crass in the extreme. I guess that some of us are never going to get along but let's get a bit of perspective - this is just a board for discussing the game of football - an entertaining diversion, but not all that important in the grand scheme of things.

What is more disturbing is that a lot of the comments I have read are using football as a subtext for general Swansea/Cardiff hatred! Some of it is dressed up in some of the most dubious arguments I have heard. OK, Cardiff get the lions share of investment, but that is not the fault of the people of Cardiff, but the politicians we vote into office.

The westminster government have been screwing the Welsh for centuries but I don't see any of this bile directed at the 'Chelsea/Arsenal/Spurs/etc, etc' boards! So why are Cardiff so hated? Have always been open about the fact that I have no axe to grind one way or the other, so what is the problem? - can't be just football or politics because the average guy from Cardiff is exactly the same as us - just an average guy who has no power to affect the 'big picture' one way or the other. Is it hereditary - my Dad hates Cardiff so I hate Cardiff? If this is the case we are in danger of handing on our predjudices to the next generation, and the next, a viscious circle that will accomplish nothing but misery.

It really is far more noble, and less tiring, to at least try and get on! <cheers>

No ban necessary, on the contrary, there should be absolutely no bans or censorship what-so-ever on our or the blooby board.

If taffyfish et al want to visit us then that's cool and the gang. They'll only be visiting for a short while anyway as they'll all disappear again when they lose or until realization sets in that their paltry little team is out of its depth in the big league. Hope you've all learned to swim by the way taffy<ok>

By the way taffy baby, what u think of old Milky wanting to sign Swansea reject Danny Graham? If that's your level then I think we'll be blooby free by November. <ok>

Excellent post Cartoon. There is nothing wrong with one set of fans wanting to outdo the other between our two teams - that's just what it should be both on the pitch and on the forums with chat.

What I cannot understand is this stupid abuse that's thrown about from certain quarters on both sides. It can't be borne out of football, there has to be something deeper than that.

History passes some people by - others just re-live it over and over. It must be well past time to get some sense back on the forums. <ok>

Stumpy, As far as I am aware none of the current mods on our board have banned anyone on our board.
I am not concerned about your boards policies as they do not concern me.

As an advanced scuba diver I am able to swim extremely well thanks for asking.

I am not overly impressed with MM going in for Graham but if MM thinks he can do a job for us I bow to his better knowledge of the lad. His record at Sunderland isn't the best but I believe he did okay for you guys.

    Taffy

Did good for us till ML arrived then slowly retreated to the bench and beyond. Not the best professional but decent championship player.

Fishbreath: If you're a PADI Advanced that means you've done about 20 dives <laugh>

Come back when you're a BSAC Instructor <ok>

Sparkey: "What I cannot understand is this stupid abuse that's thrown about from certain quarters on both sides. It can't be borne out of football, there has to be something deeper than that."

Speaks the man who has done his fair share of 'throwing about' abuse over the years. Is rank hypocrisy on the curriculum at Cardiff schools? You've clearly passed exams in it. <laugh>

Ahem, Knacker, I have been diving since 1985 and I dive regularly for fun which included 12 years diving with the British Army. If I wanted to become a BSAC instructor I would have done it years ago. Are you turning this into a pissing contest?
