Big fan of Huddlestones but can't see him joining us as he still plays for Spurs a fair bit and would have to lower his wages.
he only got 14 games last season and at 26 he's in his prime. could understand him wanting regular football. he's classy but he's a big strong unit too. hope Bruce thinks he's worth a look.

would we have said the same about geo or jay jay? he could stay at spurs for another 2 years and play a minor role and in cup games if big club football was what he wanted.
I think some people are getting carried away a little and were starting to look like big time Charlie's there is not a chance that Darren bent or Tom huddlestone would consider a move to hull city , your living in cloud cooku land thinking that we could compete for there signature and pay there wages , do you not think more established clubs would be in for them ?

Jay jay was at the end of his career and if bent or huddlestone were mid thirties then yes they may consider us , geo had pretty much flopped at man city

Very dodgy moments? When were they? As for dodgy knee I dunno what you're on about there. Every player gets injuries, it's not like he'd had recurring problems with it. If anything this operation he's had has been to prevent exactly that - a recurring problem. I agree we don't want him to be our only full back, but I can't see how anyone can criticise him.
Hope we sign someone soon, fed up of seeing the same old rumours about Bent and Rhodes who we are never going to get.
