Dan where in London do you live? Booked for a long weekend for my ahem 27th birthday in November. Staying at Queens hotel in Crystal Palace due to it being about half way from the airport and central London. Well it is if my map reading is right. Checked after booking and dont think its on the tube line although I check on a tube journy planner and if they are like our train one then its worse than useless.
Aye. But the kitchen sink who got chucked last week was miles better: please log in to view this image
Gas is right Ciaran. I'm in the North and about 30 minutes from the centre - you're miles out, no tube and it's a bit of a ****ehole.
Im a lazy bastard Gas it was the first recommended hotel on Easyjet after I booked the flights Its an earlyish flight back on the Sunday though. Londons a murder to travel through. Stayed beside Kilburn, right beside the Queens Park tube stop, for a month or so bout 1999. Barely remember it
You can get the thameslink from there to pretty much anywhere you fancy. North of the river is better mainly because it's such easy access to the centre. Camden's the dogs nuts as well though you probably wouldn't want to stay there.
Camden's north. It's a decent place but very lively (as in noisy) so not the best place for a hotel I doubt there's many hotels around there. CP is near croyden - again there's no tube.
