well i dont say anything stupid, and those that do deserve everything they get, but to say that everyone that says something stupid will get arrested is in itself stupid. the chances of you getting caught unless someone has specifically reported you and you have said it on a huge site like Twitter or facebook are slim, if you do say it on one of those sites, and shout it loud and clear outside/in a sports stadia then you are just ****ing daft and deserve what you get. and its not tin pot but whatever. So please explain how the law will know it is someone posting something on here or my site then? its stored in the database only access is the admins, the law would have to hack the db, which in itself is against the law. Mick may very well grass the offender out, but looking at General chat there would be no members left if he done that. I was in Sainsburys today and 2 men who, by their appearance, quite obviously usually shop in Asdas picked up a box of Sainsburys muesli and started kicking it around the shop. When they'd finished they just stood there shouting that Asdas was fantastic, Sainsburys was evil and if you shopped there you deserved to get food poisoning. They didn't even run away - just waited for the Security guard to arrive. I think people like that should be thrown out of the supermarket and sent back to the one they are supposed to shop in. What sdoes everyone else think of vile animals like that?
just 1 last comment text messages and phone calls are totally different. you have an ISP that knows your phone number, the radio transmitter will record your phone call. Internet is completely different and i cant see it changing anytime soon. Websites have their own servers, ISPs keep a record of the ips you used and when you used them, but they do not keep a record of every site you visited and every post you made on every forum or even what you downloaded and where from. If the cloud ever comes into force which I seriously doubt, then be worried. but you do realise that the net is like an iceberg, 10% is above the water, thats the bit we are on now, not606 amazon facebook etc etc, the other 90% is hidden away and its called deepweb, here if you know what are doing you cant get "seen" and you can buy all sorts and view all sorts of crap, yes law enforcement have taken down a few sites in deepweb, but they will never get them all. the internet as we all know it is tiny in comparison.

For me its like filesharing, yes some get caught, but its only about 0.001% of the people that actually do it in the first place, you get trolls everywhere on the net, they get 0.001% of them (probably even less for both tbh) and they make it big news as if to say "Do it and we will get you" when the chances of them getting you is 0.001%, as they have a lot larger fish to fry like Child pornography rings and proper terrorists than waste tiime and money on joe bloggs who called a celeb on the net.

You nor any other person or institution is able to control the actions of everybody, 100% of the time, so, leave them to it. Why worry? This is the reality of the modern day environment where resources are far outnumbered by potential threats. A clear mind takes the path of self governance, an unclear mind becomes obsessive. I know someone posted a pic on facebook or similar site with a load of stolen goods and he got arrested (obviously) but i cant remember what you are talking about and nor can i find it with a very quick google search. I still say you are very paranoid though, look at that troll on redit, he was doing it for 8 years then the admin ratted him out for child porn crap, basically he overstepped the mark. If you are frequenting, al queda websites, jihad websites, child porn sites even if you download a copy of the bomb makers handbook from a website or distribute it, then you might be on their radar, posting crap on twitter/facebook as well can get you in trouble, but if you are just venting somewhere, then you havnt got anything to worry about. But then im not racist, homophobic, or anything like that and i dont usually get involved in politics or religion on the internet, as you wont change anyones views and no one will change mine, so its pointless to begin with, so im not worried in the slightest as i dont say anything that could get me in trouble. They pick a select few, and make big news out of it, and its usually someone in authority, school teacher, policeman, politician even a local councillor that make big news about their beliefs and what they posted on Facebook. If you are worried then you have got something to be worried about which means you know you are wrong, if you have a belief stick to it, just dont incite hatred of a people or race or call someone individually and you will be fine.
