Didn't know that - doing the typical post before research (which certain posters also do). In that case I really don't want him at Hull - sorry I may be old fashioned but I would like a first team squad full of players with no criminal convictions, who do a lot for charity and who generally represent the club and the city they play for in a very good light. And on that argument I could never be a football chairman due to a driving without due care and attention conviction in 2003, and I know I will get accused of being unrealistic aims and expectations BUT WHY SHOULD ANY CLUB EMPLOY CRIMINALS
Bramble gets some bad footballing press because of a couple of numpties on MotD. He is a much better player than he is made out to be
I was thinking of those allegations too. Never rated him as a footballer, and trouble does seem to follow him. Even though these are not convictions, could they potentially scupper any possibility of playing in USA?
What about Alex Bruce? And I didn't mean that anyway - I wasn't comparing players in positions. I just mean in general. I'm not sure how many players we have who have played more top flight games than Bramble. Anyway, this is all academic cos I really don't think we'll be going for him.
I haven't really seen him play much so I can't have a strong opinion on this either way but I bet this is right. Jaggro reckons he's watched him at Sunderland this season and he's been quite good. These players who have a reputation for being the worst players ever are never as bad as they're made out.
"Sky Sports News understands former Wigan and Sunderland defender Titus Bramble is currently undergoing a medical in Hull ahead of linking back up with former boss Steve Bruce." Yes!!!!
