They're unloading because every time the manager said "warm up a substitute" he thought he was getting a meal.
The Journal saying that Di Canio is reviewing his attacking options which leaves the futures of Connor Wickham and Danny Graham in the balance. We were supposedly 'linked' with Graham in January so I wonder if he could be on Steve Bruce's HUGE radar?
Transfers in GK: Mannone or Westwood RB: Trippier or Byram or Simpson DM: Bridcutt or Coquelin RM: McCleary or Dorrans or Elmohamady FW: Rhodes or Austin or Finnbogason
Surely left back higher priority than a right back? Rosie has been kept on (anyone know how long for?)
I'd say a right back is more of a priority. Rosenior can cover left back but there is no one to cover right back. I don't think Brady is much of a defender and I certainly wouldn't want the lad playing there more then the odd game (supposing we opt for a back 4).
The press just seem to be recycling the same old names..the "latest" scoop from the Mail is posted elsewhere I'll put it here too just in case: It made the BBC Football Gossip column if that gives it more weight Hull City look set to launch bids to sign Wigan free agent Maynor Figueroa, Burnley's Charlie Austin and West Brom's Peter Odemwingie http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...roa-wanted-Hull-City-manager-Steve-Bruce.html
I'd love Mathieu Flamini as a holding midfielder, he would be class but as a newly promoted side we probably have no chance. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at the likes of Swansea if he leaves Milan.
You are forgetting that we have Joe Dudgeon coming back. We dont need a left back imo. First priority has to be strikers who can score goals. Once thats sorted then fill in the gaps. imo. Fulham or Swansea. Rumour of a swap deal between Arsenal and Swansea with centre back Ashley Williams. Good to see that the media are rehashing old names again. But the Odemwingie rumour does appear to have legs.
Joe dudgeon has barely played a game in this league and had some very dodgy moments, I'd be bollocksed if we trust him as our only left back for a season. Not to mention his chronic knee problem. After a goalie a left back would be te first thing I'd sign.
Now that is very harsh. Dudg was on fire before his knee injury. We have Brady, McShane and even Conor Townsend as cover. Plus Rosie who can cover both sides.
if I thought we stood a remote chance of signing bent I would snap there hands off however I think he will be out of our range and more established teams will want him
