If a black man attacks a white man, it's just a normal assault charge and like you point out, you don't hear about it either. However, if a white man attacks a black man then it's racial assault and front page headlines.

If you praise the Muslims by saying its a very select few and really it's a peaceful religion, you are supported. However, if you say Muslims are a threat to the country and should be made to leave. You are again a racist and bigot.

All this 'I don't feel safe' comments on here, makes me suspect that there have been countless acts of violence caused by Muslims on our doorstep. So why is it that I struggle to find even one example of violence related to this in our city?

 

If you call a Black person Black then that's ok. If you call the same person a B@stard then that's also ok. Put the 2 words together then you are arrested, how's that work??

You could get arrested for all of the above depending on the context. The last though is racially aggravated so is obviously the most serious.

People say you can't point fingers at an entire religion, saying things such as 'it's the Muslim's fault' which I'll tend to agree with. For me there's a far broader picture, rather than pointing the finger at a single religion, I'd point it firmly in the face of ALL religion. Whilst I will never challenge anyone's religious beliefs or ridicule them, I am still just as equally entitled to my own way of living and I've chosen to believe absolutely none of it. I'd say if I had to put a figure on it, 90% of the reasoning behind this is because there's no evidence to support any religion, but the other 10% is for my own sanity, not getting wound up in inter-religious bickering allows me a calm mind and a lot of time to do other things.

I can't agree that certain people are brainwashed within religion, as by default my own belief makes me think every religious person on the planet has been brainwashed. I can only see the extremities that the MINORITY of religious people go to, and unfortunately I don't see a way around these people.

EDIT: I'm aware there are also atheist acts of terrorism, without fear of consequence the human mind can obviously end up in the wrong hands sometimes. Exceptions to the rule in my opinion.

We live in a country that (thankfully) accepts every person as equal, but we have over developed our country to a state in which we've almost gone a full 180 on ourselves and ended up in this mess where the majority seem to have less rights than ever and the minority are treated like princes and kings. Some people's answer to this is the BNP or UKIP in the hope that they'll 'boot out the foreigners', these people are more brainwashed than the extremists. Whether you like it or not, we're part of the EU, part of UN, we signed the Geneva Convention and we can't just 'boot out the foreigners' no matter who is in charge, we would have a fight for every individual one of them through the (ECHR) courts, probably costing thousands of pounds per case. It would bankrupt this country overnight and achieve nothing.

What we live in is a country which has no answer to terrorism because we were morally castrated years ago.

 

Saw these threads last night and thought wtf! Not got much roaming bundle left, just read about it in the mirror and it made me retch.

Something has to be done, its terriorism of the highest order and has frightened me, **** knows what the answer is?
