stoke can't play any different with their squad of players, as they found out in the winter. we have plans to invest in some better players this summer. the majority of your fans hate being 12 years in a row in the championship
Cards on the table, I like the banter on here with the binner fans and I don't 'hate' them. My brother-in-law is an 1p5wich fan and I certainly don't hate him. My company has a branch in Ipswich and I dont hate my colleagues who work there. HOWEVER, I despise Ipswich Town FC with a passion and loathe their fans on a matchday and am quite happy to give them a tirade of wretched abuse. I hate blue and white and NEVER where anything blue on a matchday. I can't stand Georgie Bingham, Alan Brazil, John Wark and God rest his sole but I'd be lying if I said I liked Sir Bobby at the time when he was at Town. I do have a grudging respect for him though and his acheivements with ITFC as I do Sir Alf. Football is a religion, it's tribal, always has been and I hope to God it always will be,my tribe is NCFC and I bleed yellow and green. If football in this country ever becomes as stale as American sports, I would fall out of love with it overnight. I suppose I started out in an odd sort of way,going to Ipswich first.I think because I could just remember the excitement of the 1959 cup run though Norwich always held a kind of magic that Ipswich never could.
