    Any news chaps on this apparent "announcement"? To be honest if hes kept on I can see a few players requesting moves out of the club and not just ones we may want to shift either.

    @agent_868 on twitter, apparently an agent with sources at SJP. Twitter isnt gospel, he seems to think pardews gone and its either today or tomorrow.

    Who knows whats going on, this meeting could be about transfers or anything.....word has it if pardew failed to deliver certain expectances that 8 year deals isnt worth the paper its printed on but we all know MA would cover himself anyway so thats no suprise, the blokes not daft.

    Hello ACS thanks for the weclome.

    Theres a bloke on twitter (agent_868) saying pardew is on his way either been announced today or tomorrow but im not reading too much into it. Guys supposedly an agent with sources at SJP but im just treating it as rumor fodder untill something solids reported. Still that contact MA gave pardew is full of apparent clauses anyway if pardew failed to deliver certain expectations, but we all knew that would be the case anyway MA isnt stupid enough to dish out an 8 year deal and not put something in it to cover himself in events like this. Especialy when it involves someone like Alan Pardew and his previous track record with clubs.

    For the benefit of all future conduct, simply apply this rule - if the decision rests with either Mike Ashley or Derek Llambias, then the one likely to cause the most unhappiness among fans is 100% likely to be the decision made.

    One can only assume Mark Hughes, Steve McLaren and Joe Kinnear were unavailable at the time, as these would be the only decisions less popular than sticking with Pardew.

    This is really exciting, I had my Alan Pardew pyjamas on all last night which I admit was a bit daft because I was refurbishing an old property and got them covered in anti Pardew dust. If they get rid of him tonight when I've got my overalls on I'll be distraught.

    Come on Alan don't let the bastards grind you down.

    Tanked 7-3 by Arsenal away on the 29th Dec, then beaten 2-0 at home by Everton on the 2cnd of Jan, and then beaten 2-0 by Brighton away on the 5th Jan. A game where we were completely outplayed and may as well not have turned up. I had to be over at SJP at 1:00 am (a freezing cold night and pouring rain) to catch the coach for that one, I'd have been better off staying in bed.

    Yes Mr Pardew, thank you very much for putting on such an excellent show for us.

    Still chucking it down when we pulled into the Coach park outside the ground at Brighton.
