So he's going under the knife to sort it out , and has been playing through the pain barrier for the last two months. He goes to Germany for that in June and should be back training before the start of the season.

Once he's able to kick properly again, I reckon he should place a well aimed one up de Guzman's arse to get him moving.

Hopefully by the time he's fully fit, De Guzman would have gone back to Spain <ok>

Fair play to Leon,he play's through injury and gives his all.
Add that to the longevity and coming up the divisions with us and there's only one thing left to say about the man...

What is with all the hate on De Guzman, you all seem to be forgetting that the key to next season is depth, he might not be what we need but he takes up a space on the bench and he can play good football!

If we can sign him for about 2-3million then I'd have no problem with him here next season. However, it is being quoted that we might have to pay around 7 million for him and IMO he is not worth anywhere near that price, plus he tends to go missing quite often when the going gets tough which leads to Leon being over run in midfield.

I think it's mostly because he started well but faded and looked like a bit of a passenger. In terms of depth next year sign him. If he's going to remain first choice then I'm not so sure.
I reckon if we do sign him he will start brightly and fade again. Villareal paid lot's for him and soon dropped him prior to the relegation. Must be a reason.
